You don't want to overboil it or else you'll lose product • You'll notice the reaction start to change color and become cloudy and a crust will form. Stir frequently at this point • Then add the solvents And stir frequently, you don't want it to overboil • This reaction produces lots of heat. You can see the crystals forming on the side of the jar from the solvent and the meth. You want a good, thick liquid. That means your reaction is finished. • Now you need to cool it, place it in a freezer • Once it's ice cold, take the jar out and carefully remove any crust on the top.
