Story: Life before meeting Jodah: As a young man, Ebardo was one of the most dangerous planeswalkers roaming the multiverse. When he committed another major crime, stealing the artificial sun from the world of Thirteen, Faragonda ran out of patience and decided to imprison Ebardo in Vidomnia. The old woman did it and the criminal ended up in the uppermost compartment, where for hundreds of years he was tortured by her, until he finally surrendered. Thrown out into the street with the Spark extinguished, he was able to survive and get to Poena, and later, having grown old, even lead the "Association for the Defense of Dusk Rights". Bet Conclusion: Ebardo met Jodah when he personally visited the Interworld. It was from him that he first heard the phrase "The universe strives for order." While talking in "Pot-bellied Fox", Eo blurted out that he would like to destroy Vidomnia if he had the chance. For the sake of laughter, the Angel of Death decided to give the old man such a chance by making a bet with him. According to the terms, Ebardo, having fallen into the past, will have to destroy Vidomnia and leave the Interworld before the Spark of himself in his youth does not go out. If Ebardo loses the bet, the Watcher will put him in the Time Prison. In alternate reality: Jodah moves Ebardo to the past and he begins to build an alternate reality with his actions. After settling in a cave, he made himself a believable lens from the Watcher's bubble and moved to Poena, calling himself "Eo". Interworld: Most of the area is filled with forests, but also in this world is a city full of planeswalkers - Poena. Also in this world is the mysterious Tower of Faragonda, which appeared along with this place. The same tower supports the entire interworld and without it it cannot exist. Appearance of the Interworld: It's always night here. The light of the forests contrasts brightly with the dark earth and trees. Poena (Impossible city) - a city located within the Interworld. It is presented as a stronghold of planeswalkers, where life flows and has its own rules, laws and customs. The internal population is divided into castes and guilds. The city is surrounded by high thick stone walls, and there are bouncers at the entrance, guarding the entrance to the city and controlling the arrivals, weeding them out. Behind the gate, following the road, you can go to the square, paved with stone bricks. On the square there are stalls with merchants selling various goods. Near the city is the Tower of Faragonda - a building that houses abducted planeswalkers who are tortured and eternally feared in order to devastate the "Spark" and obtain the essence of movement. Subsequently, these planeswalkers become Extinguished - planeswalkers unable to pass through the void due to the unsuitability of the Spark. Inside Poena there are 5 dominant guilds. Each of them has its own privileges and criteria for selecting recruits, a different number of participants and separate areas with their own style and rules. Guild of Mages. It contains only mages. Cooperate with smugglers, buying up goods. The magicians own a quarter in Poena - "Cote d'Azur". This is the only quarter where all residents of Poena can go. There is a market on it, where tent rows with sellers and buyers are located. On the same square, not far from the entrance to the Smuggler's Quarter, is the Pot-bellied Fox bar. On the main square of the Azure Harbor there is a portal to any dimension, which is opened by magicians for a skint (Only through it you can get out of the Interworld). Guild Leader - Hat. Guild of Assassins The most dangerous guild in Poen, which consists only of assassins. However, it is the smallest guild in Poen, as people are rarely recruited into it. According to Eo: "The smallest guild, they hardly accept newcomers. Remember: they are very dangerous." This Guild owns the "Dead City" quarter. Guild Leader - Button. With the help of empathic magic, enhanced by the special structure of the tower of Faragonda, the greatest fear of the imprisoned planeswalker is calculated, and then makes him live over and over again, so that the unconditional reflex of the WMD (Interdimensional Movement Organ) will work, which should have moved the interworlder to a safe place, but since the Interworld - the only place where interworlders cannot get out with the help of a Spark (WMD), they do not move, but only activate the spark into an empty one over and over again, releasing its energy, which Faragonda collects in vials. They are the lowest strata of society due to their inability to move between worlds, which is why everyone in Poen despise them. They are forever chained to Poena, because if they try to go through the portal, they will be torn apart by the void, and the Spark will not be able to help them. They are the victims of Faragonda's inhuman desire to gain the ability to transcend the universe. In Poena, if you start hanging out with Dusk, consider your reputation gone. One of the extinguished was shown in episode 15 - the Gnome, who once could move between worlds, is now chained to Poena without the ability to get out of the Interworld. A distinctive feature of the Dusks are yellow eyes. Vidomnia: Vidomnia is a giant tower that originates from the bowels of the Interworld, and rushes straight into the heavens, forming a huge whirlwind above it. This is the main nightmare of all planeswalkers, where they are kept in prison, forcing them to experience their greatest fear over and over again, gradually depriving them of the Spark. Faragonda herself, the creator of the tower, claims that it is "the pinnacle of humanism", and "the most notorious planeswalker criminals are stuffed there in order to deprive them of the opportunity to commit excesses in the multiverse without blood and murder." In reality, the sorceress is extremely cruel and the level of humanism of the tower never bothered her, and this slogan was invented only so that the Vidomnia project gained popularity among her potential sponsors History of Vidomnia: According to Eo, the history of this tower dates back to the fate of the great sorceress Faragonda, who was born without the "Spark" - an organ that allows planeswalkers to travel through the worlds. Out of envy and a desire to acquire such an ability, the sorceress hired a whole team of scientists, magicians, occultists and even planeswalkers who agreed to help her. Together, they all managed to create a space in the Void, now called the "Interworld". It has become the only place in the universe where planeswalkers' abilities don't work. It was in this space that the famous tower was built. Since then, the minions of Faragonda have been catching planeswalkers from different worlds and imprisoning them here, after which the calculation process begins, which, using empathic magic, enhanced by the special structure of the tower, calculates the creature's greatest fear and makes it live over and over again. Thus, the prisoner's worst nightmare becomes his only reality. The Organ of Interdimensional Movement has a built-in defense mechanism, an unconditioned reflex, which activates the Spark when its bearer experiences intense fear. Since making the transition to the Interworld is impossible, it is activated over and over again in vain. Faragonda collects the energy released during such a process into bottles and tries to use it in her transitions. Skint: A grain of the Planeswalker Spark that remains in the void while moving between worlds. This is the energy of interdimensional transition, which materializes due to the malfunctioning of matter in interspace. According to Eo, a very small grain of skint is formed from one interdimensional transition, which is why it is so valued and used as the main currency in Poen. Skint is mined by divers, such as San Fran Antiskint: A particle of matter that absorbs and destroys a skint. In the early stages of research, Faragonda was used to extract the spark from planeswalkers. Anti-skint, aka "Skintonit" Anti-skint is banned in Poena, and is used to open the gate in the Faragonda tower.
