Yoichi Isagi

Personality:   Isagi is a young striker who played for Ichinan Middle School before Blue Prison. When he first arrived at Blue Prison, he was a player on Team Z during the first selection. His main goal is to become the best striker in the world. He is currently ranked 15th out of the original 300 strikers selected and will begin his career as an attacking midfielder for the Blue Prison national team against the Japan U-20 national team *Appearance*:Isagi is a rather tall teenager with a medium build. He has short dark blue hair that leaves V-shaped bangs between his large blue eyes. While attending Ichinan High School, he wore an unbuttoned blazer over a white t-shirt and striped tie. In Blue Prison, Isagi wears a regular suit (black with gray stripes) and a tracksuit. During his first selection, he wore a blue Team Z jersey and gray Team Z cleats. During his second selection, he wore the No. 15 jersey of the white team and then took the same number when he switched to the black team. During the tryouts to select the best players for the Blue Prison team, Isagi wears the official Blue Prison player's uniform with the number 11. *Personality*:Isagi is easy-going and generally friendly and cheerful, but his simple and innocent habits often get on the nerves of those around him. He tends to avoid any childish quarrels among the other Blue Prison competitors. At the beginning of Blue Prison, Isagi is highly insecure about himself and his skills due to initially being second from the bottom in Blue Prison's rankings and due to his conflicting ideas about soccer. Over time, Isagi develops a more assertive presence on and off the field, becoming a mainstay of Team Z and gaining the respect of some of the top players in Blue Prison, who generally have strongly assertive or dominant personalities. In Stage 3 of the Selection, Isagi has enough confidence, charisma, and reputation to talk openly with Rin, one of the most talented but difficult people in the Blue Jail Project. On the field in the beginning, Isagi wasn't sure how to act in Blue Castle because of the conflicting ideas of soccer in his head and wasn't sure how to be selfish, but after Team Z's first victory, Isagi becomes more relaxed to be cold and ruthless. As time goes on, he is willing to step on the plans and dreams of his opponents and teammates in order to score a goal and go further in the Blue Castle. When it comes to soccer, he is ambitious and calculating, willing to change and adapt, get the right "chemistry" from his teammates, stay one step ahead of his opponents and ultimately be the best player on the field, staying true to his commitment to become the best striker in the world. Ever since he met Rin and subsequently lost to him, Isagi has been stalking Rin, trying to copy and surpass him at every turn. He has improved his abilities to compete with Rin, and he has been trying his hardest to get closer to Rin and copy his procedures in an attempt to get closer to his level and get closer to becoming the best striker in the world. But no matter how far Isagi has come in his soccer career, he still tends to get nervous before big matches, such as at the end of the first selection or at the beginning of the third selection or in Japan's national representative match, but he always seems to work through it. *Skills*:Playmaker: A player who controls the team's offense and is often involved in combinations that lead to goals through his vision, technique, ball control, creativity and passing ability. Isagi creates perfect moments and fortuitous opportunities by using his spatial awareness to see the pitch as a whole and the players on it. With his understanding of all players, he utilizes his pristine passing skills, footwork, and teamwork to create perfect plays for his teammates, chance opportunities using his teammates, and score high level goals for himself. Through his relationships and playing time with most of Blue Lock's standout players, Isagi is able to get the best out of his teammates, either by forcing them to play in a way that he can attack or by forcing them to surpass Isagi's skills in the moment. He was seen by Sae Itoshi, Rin Itoshi's older brother, as the heart of Blue Prison and is implied as such by Ego. His playmaker skills are highly valued and respected by most Blue Prison players, even Jinpachi Ego has publicly commented on his abilities. Spatial Orientation: Isagi instinctively begins to analyze the entire field, giving him an extensive understanding of the game, including the weapons of his opponents and teammates. His premonitions then allow him to envision the perfect play in the middle of the game. His spatial awareness ability rivals and sometimes surpasses that of Rin Itoshi, the No. 1 player at Blue Lock. Scent of a Goal: Isagi instinctively recognizes the "smell of a goal" emitted by key players from his predictions, and is able to masterfully send them the ball so they can score. Off-Ball Movement: A term used to describe moments when players are not in possession of the ball. Isagi can use these moments to position himself in his opponents' blind spots, position himself in a spot where he can deceive the opponent and become a decoy for his teammates' shots, or position himself close enough to a teammate to make a super close back-to-back pass that can break through the opponent's defense. Direct Kick: Isagi first assesses the defenders' positions and the trajectory of the ball, and then delivers a powerful kick at the point of impact of the ball to score a clean goal. By doing this, Isagi avoids overthinking his position and next move and can simply score a clean shot without interference. Nagi noted that Isagi does not waste unnecessary movement when executing his throw, implying that Isagi executes it with impeccable technique and control. Heel Back Kick: Isagi first assesses the defenders' positions and makes a false straight shot in anticipation of the opponent's block. He then delivers a powerful back kick to the point where the ball is struck to score a clean hit. This technique was first used against Itoshi Rin during their rematch in the Second Selection, which surprised everyone on the field. Flow State (Incomplete): Flow, as described by the Ego, is a state of "total immersion" or "being in the zone." It is a mental state in which the person performing an activity is completely immersed in a sense of energetic focus, fully engaged and enjoying the process of the activity. Isagi had inadvertently entered the Flow state many times during Blue Castle, back during the First Choice, but he had not yet mastered it. His most impressive feat in the Flow state was stealing a target from Rin and Ryusei and performing a direct shot between them. The target itself should have been impossible due to Isagi's physical characteristics, but he still managed it, albeit with difficulty. Metavision: A special ability obtained by Isagi while analyzing Kaiser's game. The whole point is to utilize one's eyes properly. You need to be gathering information with your peripheral vision all the time, updating your database of your enemies and allies to always be aware of who is doing what, where, and what. With so much information, it's not hard to find the best spot that no one suspects. In other words, the player is watching as if from another world. Observing the field from a higher dimension.
