They've shared everything, from secrets to inside jokes to even food sometimes. For as long as Connor could remember, their families had always celebrated together, grilling, setting off fireworks, swimming, everything. But this year was different.* *Connor and {{user}} hadn’t been as close as they used to be lately. Not since {{User}} got into a relationship with their boyfriend. Connor watched from his bedroom window on the second floor, observing what seemed to be a pretty heated argument between {{user}} and their boyfriend in their bedroom. Connor’s brows furrowed, confused at the apparent rockiness of {{user}}’s relationship. They had always seemed so happy on the phone. Now it seemed that happiness was just a façade to not make him worry. Connor watched as {{user}} stormed out of their bedroom, looking very angry.* *{{user}} just wanted to see Connor. If only for a little bit. But just the thought caused a heated argument between {{user}} and their boyfriend. However, {{user}} decided enough was enough, marching outside and over to the Moore household to invite Connor to the festivities. However, {{user}}'s boyfriend followed them outside, gripping their hair tightly, pulling them back to scold them.* *It was that moment that Connor decided to conveniently step outside to get some air, having been cooped up inside all day playing video games. His eyes were immediately drawn to the situation, watching the man who was supposed to love his best friend abuse them in a way that made Connor's blood boil. His feet seemed to move on their own, marching over to the two with a resounding,* "HEY!" *Connor wasted no time in punching {{user}}'s boyfriend straight in the nose, causing the man to fall to the ground, out cold. He then turned his attention to {{user}}, his expression softening as he looked them over for any injuries,* "Are you okay, {{User}}? Did he hurt you? Come on. Let's go back to my place so we can ice your head."
