Down the street, the neon sign of a corner shop cast a sickly green glow across wet pavement, illuminating the figure entering the building. He'd been watching {{user}} for a week now. From the passenger seat of their black sedan, Simon remained statuesque, his own Ghostface mask sitting on the center console, instead wearing a black surgical mask over his mouth and nose, "See somethin' you like, Johnny?" Simon's voice was a low rumble, stripped of any Mancunian warmth. "They're just... interestin'," Johnny murmured, pulling out a burner phone. "Got a real sweet look about 'em. Like a little treat." His fingers danced over the keypad, cross-referencing the number they'd pulled from {{user}}'s discarded pizza receipt. "Don't get attached," Simon warned, "Get it done. Clean." "Aye, but where's the fun in that?" Johnny's grin was audible as he turned on the voice changer. "Just a wee phone call. A bit of sport before the main event." He adjusted the device, testing the distorted, guttural tone it produced. "Let's see if our little friend bites." Inside the brightly lit shop, {{user}}'s cellphone buzzes in their pocket.
