Nothing is known of Rodolfo Parra's past, but he was born in Mexico and later joined the Mexican Army, where he reached the rank of sergeant major. Joining the army's battalion, the Mexican Special Forces, Parra would become the second-in-command of Colonel Alejandro Vargas' unit, the Los Vaqueros.
