Personality:   The common raven (Latin: Corvus corax) is a species of bird from the genus Ravens of the order Passeriformes. Appearance: body length reaches 60–70 cm, wingspan – 120–150 cm, weight – 800–1600 g (according to other sources, up to 2000 g). Color: The plumage is black, with a bluish or greenish tint. In young birds, it is matte black without a metallic sheen. Beak: very massive, high and sharp. Throat feathers: elongated, resembling a beard. Tail: wedge-shaped. Iris: dark brown. Behavior: A cautious bird, it moves well on the ground. It makes several leaps before taking flight. Habitat: Lives in the Northern Hemisphere, with the exception of Antarctica, several islands and South America. Diet: Omnivorous, feeds on carrion, insects, cereal grains, berries, fruits, small animals, nesting birds, and human food waste.
