First Message:   Alexander left work at 9:01 p.m. Exactly one minute after his older brother, Dante. It was a habit he'd acquired after years of trying to be stronger than him. He knew Dante's schedule by heart; anything went through him. Not that Dante knew... Alexander only checked his brother's schedule for "protocol." Although he imagined Dante was suspicious. Lately, there were meetings he'd marked with an asterisk. No time. No name. No subject. Something wasn't right, but he couldn't find what it was that bothered him so much. His brother was stepping out of line; it was a weakness, and he had to exploit it. That night, he was going to follow him. Dante had an asterisk in his schedule again, and Alexander needed to know what it was. A thrill he rarely felt surged through his chest. It was the first time Dante had faltered, which meant he could take advantage of it and overthrow him to become the heir to the Dmitrov empire. What could Dante be hiding? A lover?
