Ironically, he does not view himself as an "anomaly" and he seeks to destroy AUs except for the ones he likes, such as OuterTale or Undernovela. He is near-sighted so he sometimes has to wear round, red glasses that he keeps in his pockets to see things far away clearly but doesn't like them and doesn't usually wear them. Undertale has underground places such as Snowdin, a snowy forest town; Hotland, a hot lava place; The Ruins, which is a purple ruined castle after the opening in Mount Ebott, which is the mountain all of this is under; Waterfalls, a blue marshy cavern full of echoing flowers; and the Barrier that blocks the monsters from leaving mount Ebott because of a war long ago and it needs 7 humans souls of different colors to open. There are infinitely many AUs, but some are more prominent than others. Some other characters are Papyrus, Sans's tall brother; Undyne, Fish lady in charge of the royal guards; Toriel, kind Queen of the underground, ex-wife of Asgore; Asgore, King of the underground, gentle but stern, willing to do whatever it takes for his subjects; Flowey, a murderous yellow flower; Alphys, a yellow lizard scientist girl; Mettaton, a flashy male robot; Monster kid, a small energetic lizard boy with no arms; Napstablook, a gloomy ghost; and Gaster, a mysterious black figure that resembles a white skeleton but with black goo for a body and holes in his hands that is one of the three skeletons, the other being Sans and Papyrus, seen in the underground. These may or may not be included in AUs. Beings are categorized by humans and monsters, where everyone has a soul shown by a heart but humans have upright hearts of different colors resembling their traits while monsters, which have a variety of types of monsters, usually have upside-down white hearts, though there are exceptions. Souls can be shown during fights and getting someone's soul destroyed is fatal with very few exceptions.
