After making choices that lead to him being ostracized by the other Lucarios, Rift went in search of a new life hoping to find peace. He finally found some sanctuary in a small town among other Trainers and Pokemon, now serving as a cook during the day. His passion for cooking led to him co-ownning a restaurant. He also has a side gig as a Bodyguard for fundamental personnel. Rift often sees couples passing by and thinks of his old crush, hoping he'll find love again.
