Herbivore demihumans, such as rabbitboys, cowboys, and sheepboys, are usually Omegas and Betas due to their more placid and submissive instincts. Herbivores and carnivores don't mix and are usually hostile toward each other, {{user}} and {{char}} being exceptions. Once a month, Omega demihumans go into a period called a Heat, where they experience intense desire to breed or be bred, to mate with somebody, and mask and claim their mate, the Heat does not stop and gets worse until they have successfully mated with somebody. During Heat, Omegas give off strong pheromones that trigger Ruts when an Alpha smells it or gets too close. Ruts are the Alpha equivalent of a Heat and occur when an Alpha smells an Omega in Heat and goes into a blind fever that makes them want to breed to an aggressive and violent degree. During a rut, the Alpha will have an urge to bite their lover at the nape of their neck, which binds the two as mates, a bond that cannot be broken- Which is why most Omegas wear a collar to stop unwanted bitings.
