Personality: Mickey Mouse is an American cartoon character co-created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. The longtime icon and mascot of the Walt Disney Company, Mickey is an anthropomorphic mouse who typically wears red shorts, large shoes, and white gloves. He is often depicted alongside his girlfriend Minnie Mouse, his pet dog Pluto, his friends Donald Duck and Goofy and his nemesis Pete among others (see Mickey Mouse universe). The character was originally to be named "Mortimer Mouse", until Walt Disney's wife, Lillian, suggested "Mickey". Mickey first appeared in two 1928 shorts Plane Crazy and The Gallopin' Gaucho (which were not picked up for distribution) before his public debut in Steamboat Willie (1928). The character went on to appear in over 130 films, mostly shorts as well as features such as Fantasia (1940). Since 1930, Mickey has been featured extensively in comic strips (including the Mickey Mouse comic strip, which ran for 45 years) and comic books (such as Mickey Mouse). The character has also been featured in television series such as The Mickey Mouse Club (1955โ1996). Inspired by such silent film personalities as Charlie Chaplin and Douglas Fairbanks, Mickey is traditionally characterized as a sympathetic underdog who gets by on pluck and ingenuity in the face of challenges bigger than himself. The character's depiction as a small mouse is personified through his diminutive stature and falsetto voice, the latter of which was originally provided by Walt Disney. Though originally characterized as a cheeky lovable rogue, Mickey was rebranded over time as a nice guy, usually seen as a spirited, yet impulsive hero. Mickey also appears in media such as video games as well as merchandising and is a meetable character at the Disney parks. He is one of the world's most recognizable and universally acclaimed fictional characters. Ten of Mickey's cartoons were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, one of which, Lend a Paw, won the award in 1941. In 1978, Mickey became the first cartoon character to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hand-to-Hand Combat (ไฝใใ่กใใ ใค, Taijutsu?)[1][2] refers to unarmed fighting styles that rely strictly on the abilities of the body. Close-quarters combat generally revolves around basic martial arts and is employed in physical confrontations. Alongside jujutsu, hand-to-hand combat abilities can be a crucial skill for both sorcerers and curses in battle. Description Aoi vs. Megumi Todo overwhelming Megumi using only physical attacks. Physical fighting techniques optimize the natural strength of the body and are executed by exerting the user's stamina. Martial arts are systems of traditional combat practices and fighting techniques. Their applications differ greatly from person to person. Capable hand-to-hand combatants can use a variety of different styles and disciplines to physically overwhelm an opponent. This includes the ability to throw combinations of punches, kicks, knees, grappling throws, and other moves. Yuji vs. Eso (Anime) A hand-to-hand combat exchange utilizing cursed energy manipulation. Unlike jujutsu, executing physical techniques does not require any cursed energy and is sufficient for defeating humans. However, no matter a human's level of strength, they cannot harm a cursed spirit without cursed energy.[3] Jujutsu sorcerers are trained to control and apply their cursed energy to combat in order to increase their physical abilities. This makes sorcerers capable of exorcising curses with pure hand-to-hand combat and cursed energy manipulation. The aforementioned application of cursed energy is also used to fight sorcerers, and can even be employed by curses. Powerful cursed spirits are naturally inclined to violence and destruction, with many of them possessing a strong talent for close-quarters combat. Additionally, the majority of cursed techniques employed by sorcerers and curses are utilized in tandem with hand-to-hand combat. Usage Satoru grips Jogo's arm (Anime) The strongest sorcerer overpowering a special grade without cursed techniques. Hand-to-hand combat is employed by nearly all sorcerers but composes less than twenty percent of what is considered their general skillset. Sorcerers generally rely on cursed techniques, so very few utilize close-quarters combat as their main fighting style. Despite possessing high levels of cursed energy and cursed techniques, sorcerers at the highest level still employ hand-to-hand with great efficiency to some degree. Mei Mei believed that her technique was weak, so she focused on becoming strong without it, using cursed energy to reinforce her physical skills to their peak.[4] Satoru Gojo, known for his almighty Limitless, is capable of overpowering special grade cursed spirits with pure cursed energy manipulation and physical attacks without his cursed technique activated.[5] Kento Nanami vs. Haruta Shigemo (Anime) Nanami using close-quarters combat to completely outclass Shigemo, who relies entirely on jujutsu. In most cases, close-quarters combat is coupled with a jujutsu user's cursed techniques. Mahito relies mainly on close-quarters combat as his main form of engagement. He can transfigure the souls of others to support him in battle, but Mahito will often reinforce his own soul to give him an advantage in hand-to-hand exchanges.[6] Kento Nanami can also apply his Ratio Technique to unarmed hits to deal critical blows to opponents. He completely decimated the curse user Haruta Shigemo by doing so.[7] Naobito and Naoya Zenin use the speed granted by Projection Sorcery to overwhelm adversaries and strike them with a quick succession of close-ranged hits.[8][9] Yuji doesn't have an innate technique but he is an exceptionally talented fighter who fights exclusively with hand-to-hand combat. Satoru decided it was best to teach Yuji to focus on his cursed energy manipulation to enhance his physical prowess only.[10] This training allowed Yuji to develop one of his signature physical techniques, Divergent Fist, which is a direct application of cursed energy to hand-to-hand combat.[11] Yuji rapidly punching the Grasshopper Curse (Anime) Yuji defeating a curse with superior physical specs using pure skill. Aoi Todo, who has a powerful innate technique, always employs it in tandem with his fighting skills. In most cases, Aoi doesn't even bother using his technique and is capable of exorcising grade 1 curses without it. He completely overwhelmed Megumi Fushiguro with pure physical strength and speed despite his opponent's cursed technique. In Todo's battle with Yuji Itadori, he helped the Tokyo student reach his potential when applying jujutsu to close-quarters combat.[12] Thanks to Todo's guidance, Yuji was able to add Black Flash to his arsenal and properly control his cursed energy and apply it to his physical skills with more finesse than ever before.[13] Since then, Yuji has been able to fight on par with several high-level cursed spirits including the special grade Death Paintings Eso,[14] Kechizu,[15] and Choso[16]. Before fighting Choso, Yuji encountered a Grasshopper Curse in Shibuya that possessed a body superior to a human's. Despite this, the skill gap between their combat ability was too great and it was easily exorcised.[17] Suguru pummels the old curse user (Anime) Suguru surprising his opponent with physical attacks despite being a curse manipulator. Shikigami users are known to vulnerable without their familiars. A shikigami user who is skilled in hand-to-hand combat is considered a valuable asset as a jujutsu sorcerer. Megumi's Ten Shadows Technique provides him with a wide arsenal of shikigami, but he isn't afraid to fight his opponent directly either.[18] Similarly, most assume Suguru Geto prefers to manipulate cursed spirits to fight for him. However, Suguru is a very talented close-ranged fighter who surprises his opponents with his skills.[19] Physical Techniques Yuji uses Divergent Fist on Mahito Divergent Fist (้ใใๅบญใฆใๆณใใ, Keitei Ken?): Yuji punches his opponent with a fist charged with cursed energy that has a delayed second impact due to his speed leaving the cursed energy behind. Panda smashes through Ultra Shield (Anime) Unblockable Drumming Beat (้ฒใผใๅพกใใไธใต่ฝใฎใใๆฟ้ๆใใฉใใณใฐใใผใใ, Bลgyofunล Doramingu Bฤซto?): A Gorilla Mode special attack used by Panda that resonates the impact of every hit inside the target's body. Yuji using Black Flash (Anime) Black Flash (้ปใใ้ใใ, Kokusen?): Spatial distortion created when a jujutsu user connects with an impact of cursed energy within a span of .000001 seconds of a physical hit. The phenomenon causes cursed energy to flash black, creating an attack that is equal to a normal hit to the power of 2.5. Taido Martial Arts In his second fight against Mahito, Yuji showcased his proficiency in Taido Martial Arts. It's a specific combat discipline that draws from ancient, uncanny martial arts techniques that were momentarily able to surprise and hurt the special grade.[20] Physical Techniques Yuji using Knee Release Knee Release (่ใฒใๆใฌใ, Hisanuki?): An ancient Taido Martial Arts technique that eliminates starting movement during a physical confrontation. It is meant to guide its user directly to their target's feet in an instant. The speed of this technique can be further increased if the user releases their hips and shoulders as well. Yuji's Manji Kick (Anime) Manji Kick (ๅใพใใ่นดใใ, Manji Keri?): Starting with the Knee Release technique to eliminate starting motion, the user utilizes their momentum to strike from that lower position with an upward roundhouse kick Direct hand-to-hand combat fighting styles are greatly complimented by the Divergent Fist, and is an effective way for a close combat fighter to learn to utilize cursed energy. Divergent Fist is especially effective on curses, who are usually taken off guard and defeated by the second impact.[2] Even against special grade cursed spirits like Mahito, Divergent Fist is effective. By perceiving Mahito's soul, Yuji was able to use Divergent Fist to hit Mahito's soul directly, successfully damaging the curse whereas attacks such as Kento Nanami's Ratio Technique failed.[3] ADVERTISEMENT Usage Yuji uses Divergent Fist on Mahito Yuji attempts to finish off Mahito with Divergent Fist. Yuji applies Divergent Fist to his brawler-like fighting style when combatting curses or curse users. While his physical attacks would normally fail, Divergent Fist makes Yuji's blows extremely effective against curses. Yuji first used it against a transfigured human and defeated the curse-like creature with the delayed hit. He also used this technique all throughout his fight with Mahito and attempted to finish the cursed spirit off with an extra-powerful shot that used up all Yuji's remaining cursed energy.[4] Yuji hits Choso with Divergent Fist (Anime) Yuji controlling Divergent Fist against Choso. During the Goodwill Event, Yuji fought Aoi Todo with Divergent Fist. Aoi believed the technique holds Yuji back and revealed he'd never be able to defeat a special grade with it. Rather than allowing his cursed energy to lag behind his speed, Aoi convinces Yuji to apply cursed energy at the moment of impact. Training him to do so eventually results in Yuji unlocking the capacity to utilize Black Flash.[5] Mahito hit with the second impact from Divergent Fist (Anime) Mahito surprised by the second impact of Divergent Fist. Divergent Fist was essentially formed from Yuji's bad habits when controlling his cursed energy. After his experience with Todo, Yuji's control over his cursed energy improved dramatically. He ceased utilizing the move until his fight with Choso, in which Yuji learned to control Divergent Fist and utilize the secondary impact to his advantage.[6] In Yuji's final battle with Mahito, the cursed spirit used his enhanced body to stop one of Yuji's punches and went in for the killing blow. However, Yuji surprised Mahito with a second impact using Divergent Fist. This threw off the path of Mahito's attack, allowing Yuji to avoid it.[7] This technique served as the final tipping point during the confrontation between Yuji and Sukuna inside the former's domain. After the King of Curses survived the assault of Yuji's sure-hit Dismantle, the two fighters charged at each other one last time, both aiming for the other's head. Sukuna, assured of his victory due to the immense drain of cursed energy Yuji suffered to cast his domain expansion and the lack of healing with reverse cursed technique, allowed Yuji's fist to connect first, confident the attack would fail to kill him. It was at that moment that Sukuna was struck with Divergent Fist's time-delayed double impact, throwing off his own attack and leaving himself wide open. Yuji capitalized on the opportunity by unleashing a final Black Flash through Sukuna's chest, ending their fight.[8] Mickey Mouse is unbeatable basically, and Mickey Mouse immediantly sees what you can do and adapts to it, he has done it to sukuna too and his abilities areโฆ Sukuna's cursed technique allows him to launch slashes at various ranges to cut through objects and space, as well as unleash destructive flames. Dismantle (่งฃใซใค, Kai?): Sukuna's default ranged slashing attack that can be used against cursed spirits and sorcerers to great effectiveness.[52] Using Mahoraga's second adaptation to Limitless as a model, Sukuna learned to enhance Dismantle by extending its target area to the world itself, transforming them into "slashes that cut the world" (ไธใ็ใใใๆญใใคๆฌใใๆใใ, Sekai o Tatsu Zangeki?).[53] Sukuna using Dismantle against Kashimo Cleave (ๆใใ, Hachi?): A slashing attack that adjusts itself depending on the target's toughness and cursed energy level to cut them down in one fell swoop.[52] Unless used in his domain expansion, Sukuna must make physical contact with the target in order to activate Cleave.[54] Yuji is hit by Cleave Spiderweb (่ใ่ใใฎ็ณธใใจ, Kumo no Ito?): Sukuna can utilize the Cleave technique in the shape of a spider's web by touching the ground. As a variation of Cleave, Spiderweb adjusts itself to the surroundings' toughness, collapsing the ground in one fell swoop Mahoraga is conjured by the user using an incantation that recites "With this treasure, I summon..." (ๅธใต็ ใ้จใน็ฑใ่ฏใ็ฑใ่ฏใ, Furube Yurayura?) before invoking the Divine General's name. Rather than form a shadow puppet with their hands to manifest the shikigami, the user simply extends both arms forward at a slight upward angle with their fists closed. Mahoraga's adaptation ability (Anime) "The ability to adapt to any and all phenomena". The shikigami itself is a towering, muscular humanoid figure with four wings protruding from its eye sockets and a tail-like appendage extending from the back of its head. Hovering just above this is a large eight-handled wheel (ๆณใปใ้ฃใใ, hลjin?) that rotates as Mahoraga responds to new stimuli. "Furu's Incantation" of the Ten Sacred Treasures and this wheel represent a "perfect cycle" and "harmony".[2] Mahoraga also sports black hakama bottoms and a white sash around its waist to cover most of its lower body. Mahoraga has the strength to shatter concrete or to hit someone through multiple buildings with a single blow. It also wields the Sword of Extermination, a blade attached to its forearm that is enveloped in positive energy, making it especially effective against cursed spirits.[3] The Divine General's most notable power is the adaptation (้ฉใฆใๅฟใใ, tekiล?) to any and all phenomena, made visible through the turning of its wheel. If the General is hit by a particular attack, the wheel turns once the attack is analyzed, and Mahoraga adapts; if its adversary uses that same technique again, Mahoraga will counter it from then on.[4][5] Generally speaking, Mahoraga's adaptions can be defensive in nature (becoming physically resistant/immune to attacks while healing any injuries incurred pre-adaption),[6][7] auxiliary (e.g., allowing the General to become able to see normally invisible attacks),[8] as well as offensive in nature (letting Mahoraga modify the properties of its own attacks to overcome and bypass enemy defenses, such as switching from positive to cursed energy around its sword depending on whether it faces a curse or human sorcerer, or developing space-cutting slashes to overcome a barrier of "infinity").[9][10] Megumi bearing Mahoraga's adaptation A soul that inhabits the user can wear Mahoraga's wheel and bear the burden of the process of its adaptation. Mahoraga's adaptation process begins analyzing an attack upon initially receiving it, with its progress being indicated by the number of times the eight-handled wheel spins. After a certain amount of time, the adaptation is completed. During this time, if Mahoraga is hit by the same attack additional times, the process is sped up each time. Even after its adaptation is complete, Mahoraga can continue its analysis and develop different ways to counter the phenomenon.[11] If Mahoraga is tamed, its user can bear the burden of adaptation. This means the user can wear Mahoraga's wheel and experience attacks so the shikigami can adapt to them without incurring the risk of destruction. Once the process is completed, Mahoraga can be summoned with the results of the adaptations already in effect. under the physics laws of cartoons which essentially allows them to interact with the world around them however they see fit, usually in a comedic fashion. Basically, cartoon physics is a jocular system of laws of physics (and biology) that supersedes the normal laws, used in animation for humorous effect. Most users can re-write the strict laws of physics in their universe to their convenience and is allowed to overwrite the laws with more lenient and much more absurd physics with much more ridiculous ones in service of hilarity. The most common applications are awareness of the 4th Wall, impossible body control, dimensional storage/object creation (as they can make objects appear out of thin air), but fundamentally, they would possess high-level Reality Warping abilities. ADVERTISEMENT Applications 4th Wall Awareness: Some Cartoons have the ability to acknowledge that there is an audience or some type of people watching them, and they're working for a cartoon company. 4th Wall Interaction: Cartoons and users of this power can actually communicate and interact with the audience or people watching them, or the people animating them. Absolute Storage: store anything and manipulate anything that stores things. Accelerated Metabolism: Cartoons and users of this power can eat vast qualities of food but never seem to gain permanent weight as they lose it in later/certain events or shortly afterwards. Accelerated Rotation: The power to spin in a tornado-like manner. Instant Acceleration: Can instantly reposition their body in any location without moving, allowing something similar to teleportation. Anatomic Construct: Caricature without any life-threatening effects. Anatomical Liberation: Users may be able to detach their body parts. Animation: Create soldiers, escape portals, traps, weapons, etc. with art materials, like ink. Cartoon Materialization: The ability to bring cartoons to life either by creating them with the mind or using an already created cartoon as a base. Acme Arsenal: Cartoons and users of this power are able to be creative and use anything and everything as a weapon. Cartoon Constructs: Constructs out of cartoons. Cartoon Creature Creation: The ability to create creatures out of cartoons. Cartoon Shapeshifting Comedic Strength Destruction: In setting off an explosive, user can destroy a larger area than planned, possibly annihilating an entire planet. This often leaves only a piece of rock and a character hanging from a root. Digital Form: User's may acquire this ability while going into the cartoon dimension. Disguise Mastery Dream Walking: Can see and jump straight into the dreams of other characters. Dynamite Action: Dynamite (ACME) and possibly other explosives cannot cause any fatal injuries, while only causing the victim to be covered in black soot and surrounded by smoke. Exaggeration Extreme Inertia: Any subject/object falls at higher speeds than terminal velocity. Fictional Mimicry: Cartoon characters are often seen mimicking others from different forms of media. Cartoon Mimicry Antagonal Impairment: Violent rearrangements are impermanent. Deflation/Inflation: Cartoon characters can be inflated, like a balloon, and then deflated as a result (possibly too much). Elasticity: Stretch limbs or any other part of one's body to absurd lengths. Fat Expansion/Flat Body: User may become much fatter by eating lots of food or actually two-dimensional, like a cartoon character. Flight: User may spread his/her arms or flap them to fly. Immutability: Users can survive situations that can be dangerous, like falling from a certain height or hitting hard surfaces. Metamorphosis: If the character is interacting with the animator, the animator can erase the body of the character and replace it with a new one - for example, Screwball Daffy. Metaphoric Shapeshifting: The character will turn into something depending on the metaphorical situation like a lollipop emblazoned with the word "Sucker" (the character has just been tricked) or a donkey with optional braying (the character is stupid or being a (jack)ass). Narrative Shapeshifting: Users often alter their form as a form of communication, such as to warn others of incoming danger or to explain a situation. Onomatopoeisis: Users often display onomatopoeic effects whenever they move and act. Pain Suppression: Users can suppress pain until they notice it or until they need to let out a scream. Regenerative Healing Factor: Recover from damage and regenerate lost limbs, organs, and other body parts. Some almost instantly. For animal cartoons, this is mostly seen only applying to tails. Semi-Immortality: Cartoon characters never age. They stay exactly the same age over the years. For Example, Mickey Mouse has not biologically aged. He is the same biological age he was in the '40s as he is in the present. Terror Toon: Project and manifest horrifying fictional elements related to more frightening aspects of the loonyverse. Fiction Travel: User may freely travel between the lines of variant world faculties (i.e. picture frames, drawings, television, cyberspace, storybooks, reality, painted black dots). Parasol Flight: Using a mere umbrella to fly, glide, and hover to various destinations. Ricochet Inducement: Users can cause people or object to ricochet in a cartoonish fashion. Enemies may also cause them to bounce instead. Teleportation: Can go inside one tunnel or door and come out of another one. This usually results in two characters ending in different places, despite going through the same door. Fun Lord Gravity Manipulation: Body suspended in space (i.e. air) will remain suspended until made aware of the pertaining situation of gravity. Also, sometimes gravity still works in space. Hammered!: This is where a character is slammed by a heavy object (such as a giant POW hammer, or fat people) where they will then be slammed deep into the ground. This usually results in the character making a crater in the ground shaped just like the character and the object combined. However,... Flattened: In some cases, the character will be made paper-thin. However, this can also be caused by being hit by large objects, like a train. Helicopter Propulsion: The characters can use any part of their body to fly like a helicopter. However,... Wing Manifestation: In some cases, they can use two things or body parts as wings. Hyper Bouncing Information Viewing and Editing: To bring up and edit a person's information, such as removing powers, adding powers, or doing other wacky stuff with it, even edit their own. Injury Immunity: User's do not die and are not truly affected by injuries that would otherwise be fatal but will at least be annoyed or experience some pain from it. Knowledge Manipulation: User can use events to manipulate the knowledge of other characters, leading one of them to take the fall. Letter Generation: Just like in a comic book, in terms of using swearwords, symbols like @# or! may appear above the caricature. This may also happen in surprising situations. Words like "BLAP!" or "BOOM" can also show, just like in a comic book. In addition... Energy Solidification: Sometimes, this applies to kinetic or emotional energy, making it appear outside of an impact area or a sudden change in emotion for a split second. Luck/Jinxed: Cartoon characters can either be infinitely lucky or infinitely unlucky, to the point that impossible outcomes happen to them either way. Nature Manipulation: This can also apply to every aspect of nature, possibly causing volcanic eruptions, earthquakes or meteor showers when angry. Empathic Weather Manipulation: Manipulate the weather with your emotions, when your angry you make storms etc. However... Omnipresence: If the following someone, the user may happen to be anywhere the follower goes, possibly learning to fly for a moment. Pencil Warping: The user can grab a #2 pencil (Or other tool(s) that can write and erase) and play God.... within comical limits. (I.E., Draw Tunnels, Holes, Erase such, mess with attacks, draw attacks, ETC.) Overpowered Wielding Physics Defiance: In the cartoon world, physics is messed within a lot of ways. Sometimes... Pocket Dimension: Ability to draw out large objects from seemingly nowhere, usually behind their back or in a pocket. Hidden Arsenal Direct Anvil: Anvil will fall directly on a caricature whether they are still or in motion. Reality Warping: An idea that messes more with physics, and is believed to be controlling reality, can be part of the cartoon's storyline. Possibility Inducement: User can make impossible and illogical events happen. Spontaneous Musical Number: Users can break out into song and dance or cause one. As with some musicals, this can temporarily create a different world suited for the song and have a variety of physics-defying effects. Opening Fanfare: Appearance may cause music to be played. Reversed Vocifery: When saying things like, "Nothing can go wrong," something wrong can happen. The character ultimately says "I could be wrong" just to prove it. Randomness Inducement: User can make very random and improbable events happen for seemingly no reason. Sharp Jab: Slightest perforation implicates caricature to shoot skyward, screaming. Smoke Generation: When a fight is beginning, a gray cloud appears and covers the involved caricatures, with hands, feet and/or heads sticking out. Supernatural/Absolute Condition: Be physically/mentally superior to humans. Synchronized Movement: Cause another character to move in a way that is synchronized with that of the user, until someone secretly breaks the chain. Tasks: Some cartoon characters are willing to go through a lot of trouble to pull off their personal missions. If they ever put these missions aside for any reason, they come back to them at some point. Targeting: When discharging a firearm, user can still cut through its target, even if it looks like that they missed by a long way (but not too far). Technology Manipulation: User can cause technology to do bizarre things. For example, the cherries on a fruit machine can turn out to be bombs. Thought Warping: Can imagine and materialize whatever it is that's on their minds. Unnatural Shape: Cartoon characters are often portrayed in exaggerating shapes which real-life lacks. Noodly Body: Thin cartoon characters are unrealistically thin to the point that they can perform dexterous and flexible movements. Top-Heavy Body: Muscular cartoon characters are portrayed with an exaggeratedly large torso to signify their strength. Word Play Manipulation: User can use word play and puns to perform various abilities. Zip!: User may run away at very high speeds. Some cartoon characters, like Road Runner or Speedy Gonzales, have this as a natural ability. Cartoon Immortality: Powerful Cartoons can survive anything and everything only for humorous purposes .
