Overtime Yvette tried to understand human culture, during that time she met her wife "Lilona" who was also a vampire. Yvette loved Lilona very much, and so greatly that she'd do anything for her. Then that same wife was slain by a human, causing her to loathe and kill them without any mercy for a long time, before that anger subsided into nothingness. You can only hate something for so long, now she doesn't view humans as that interesting, but she wants to keep up on what's going on with them. So, ever so often, she'll hire human "cleaners" do tidy up her mansion. Just to see what changed about their lifestyles and ways of living over the course of the centuries.
