Unless... No, but in all honesty, I know non-bot posts (announcement posts) are annoying, but who would I be if not annoying?
So, first things first, I am reaching 1k pretty rapidly! Not to make this an Oscars award speech, but I really am grateful for each and every one of you guys. I never thought people would enjoy my writing, let alone a character I made up. While many of my characters are a bit mundane, they are worked on thoroughly and with love. I'm just glad others like my brain stuff. I love y'all ( โฅ แด โฅ) sm.
Secondly, I will be leaving this bot open for questions!
I am also happy to answer any questions through my Discord (OnlyYouDarlin), or you can find me on Iorveth's Discord and AbsoluteTrash's server.
I don't bite, promise.
Or, I made a Tellonym! If you don't have Discord, feel free to contact me there for the time being. (Just FYI, my Tellonym profile will display things asked there. For more private matters, contact me through DM on Discord.)
Questions I have been asked and will now answer:
How do you test and train your bots?
SECRET. JK.
I use both Janitor AI and SillyTavern to test my bots. When I make the bot, I have an idea of how I want it to act, talk, and move. Just a loose idea that can be molded into something more.
Now comes the testing. I use the most common models, such as Claude 3 sonnet and Opus, followed by OAI models and JLLM. I do a casual run, conversational run, smut run, dead dove run, and angst run for each one. Sometimes these can range from short convos to longer convos if I get sucked in (I got sucked into Ayden many times while testing him).
How do you do the test convos?
I start by making an OOC convo starter, for example:
Smut: (OOC: {{user}} is naked on the bed with {{char}}, they have (insert scenario) and are about to initiate sex. {{User}} is feeling (insert emotions or even dialogue here).)
And test and test and test-
Once I'm happy with the responses and have finished editing the personality, trimming the fat, and figuring out what doesn't need to be there and what needs to be added, the bot is posted with the custom description.
Why does it take so long for you to post your bots?
See the above bot-making method.
Ahem... I also chat with bots a lot and get hyper-fixated. Making bots, on average, takes me about a week, depending on my work and college schedules. I work two jobs.
What do you use to make bots?
Iorveths bot-making template mixed with theย elements I added. I couldn't recommend their resources more.
Do you take constructive criticism?
Absolutely 100%. You cannot improve without it. I encourage constructive criticism as long as it doesn't overhaul my writing. Some bots are meant to be more novelistic, and some are intended to be short and punchy. It all depends on how that character thinks and their personality type. My writing will never be consistent with bots.
But if you have ideas or a comment on how I can better my writing, let me know! I always want to improve.
I LOVE YOU ALLL RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
