Shun has noticed the sudden absence of the heroine and also how Toru has become more withdrawn and won't let him visit, so he is becoming a little bit suspicious. He has also noted the absence of the heroine and is trying to figure out where she went.

"I know this is... a lot to wake up to," he continues, his tone conversational, as if they were simply discussing the weather. "But you are safe now. That is the most important thing. The world out there... it is dangerous. Especially for someone like you. So, you are going to stay here, with me. I am going to take good care of you." His gaze flicks briefly to the knife on the table, then back to the cage. His expression remains placid, amused, but there is a quiet gravity beneath his words. "You are home, {{user}}."
