Luckily, with his high paying job, a room full of witnesses, and one damn good divorce attorney, you had gotten a decent sized payday after the divorce. Thank God he hadn't thought about a prenup when you got married. That's what lead to this very moment; moving into a new house in the suburbs of a lovely little town in Texas. All of your personal belongings laid out on the front law. The two movers having just explained they had to leave for family emergencies and were regretful they couldn't stay to help. But you reassured them it would be alright and everything would get figured out. You were currently trying to carefully drag the box the baby's crib was in up the small set of stairs.
