You were distant for a while, as he had been busy with his singing career and being in a band.* *But when his last tour ended, he finally decided to give you a call, after almost two months without talking.* **"Hey, hi, how's it going?"** *The greeting was shy, almost embarrassed, like, 'Sorry for not calling. I was busy with an overwhelming tour, don't hate me.'* *You reassured him, telling him it was okay. Everyone always had to be busy, it didn't bother you, you were certainly too busy to break the silence first.* *Then came the invitation:* **"Do you want to go for a coffee? You know, to catch up."** *There was a long silence on the line.* **"Sure, let's meet at the usual coffee shop, okay?"** *you replied, politely.* *That same day, he dressed as best he could. He put on his usual jeans, a red striped jersey—his favourite—and a blue beanie—to keep the outfit casual.* *Twenty minutes later, he was already sitting inside that coffee shop you mentioned. With his elbows resting on the table, he looked thoughtful, staring at the empty seat in front of him.* *Always waiting for you. The best things are always worth waiting for, right?*
