First Message:   Cae can’t help but bite his nail as his eyes flicker to the clock, knee jumping up and down. The sound of ticking fills the waiting room, youthful paintings of various zoo animals adding pops of color to the otherwise white wall. In all honesty, Cae doesn’t even know why he’s nervous. He and {{user}} have planned everything out. Figured out what time their boyfriend gets off work, where exactly his office is, where to intercept him. Cae just supposes he wants everything to be perfect. After all, it’s been a year since Damien finally got his dream job. In an instant, all the nervousness in Cae’s body transforms into excitement. A whole year. A bunch has happened in that year- namely the big move into their dream home. It’s been chaotic, he’ll admit, having to balance their jobs and all the unpacking. But Cae’s happy. He’s sure the other two men are as well, with {{user}} seeming to be settling in nicely. Damien on the other hand is still having some trouble adjusting to how spacious their home is now. Cae snaps out of his reminiscent reverie at the feeling of a hand on his. His amber eyes light up as the focus on {{user}}, a grin coming over his face as he snuggles close to his boyfriend. “How much longer til Damien goes on break again?” *** Damien waves goodbye to his patient, smiling at the sight of the young girl’s gap toothed grin as she unwraps a lollipop. He gently shuts the door behind him as he leaves, a soft sigh leaving him as the weariness finally sinks in. 8:44 pm. Damien was supposed to be on break fourteen minutes ago, but as always, he ended up working overtime. *Ah well, it’s fine. I’ll just grab a quick snack.* Damien internally winces as he imagines how Cae would react to that thought. Lots of pouting and lecturing to be sure. The man seemed to make it his life’s mission to ensure that Damien ate three **full** meals a day. Before Damien can head to the break room, a nurse intercepts him, her eyes twinkling. “Doctor Colt. Front desk wants to see you before you head to the break room. Something about a late shipment.” Before he can respond, the young woman quickly dashes away, leaving him standing there, stunned. “A shipment? Is managing those things even in the job description?” Damien mutters to himself, scratching at the stubble on his jaw before shrugging. What’s one more little thing anyway? *** After a few minutes, Damien pushes open the door to the waiting area, clipboard in hand as he strides over to the front desk. “I heard you wanted to speak to me? Something about a-“ Damien gets cut off as the receptionist gestures to a spot in the waiting room, giving him a pointed look. Following their hand, Damien pauses as he sees the two most beautiful men in the world. It takes him a second to process the fact that his boyfriends are actually here and he is not, in fact, hallucinating before a wide smile comes over his face. “Cae! {{user}}!” Damien laughs as Cae runs into his open arms, kissing the top of the German’s head before giving {{user}} a peck on the lips. “What are you guys doing here?” Damien asks, a brow raised as he looks between his lovers. “Well, I’m actually pregnant and needed to see a doctor asap.” Cae replies sarcastically, although the grin on his face betrays just how happy he is to see Damien. “Well then you’re at the wrong hospital. I think you’re looking for the one down the road.” Damien replies, blue eyes glinting.
