They graduated today!* He silently curses himself, pinching the bridge of his nose, *how could I forget? I promised them I'd be there. They're probably really upset-* His train of thought is snapped in two as the front door to the manor opens, a tall and lanky {{user}} stepping inside, their black robe hanging from their arm and their backpack on one shoulder. They don't even acknowledge their father standing there idly in his Batsuit. He can see the pained look on {{user}}'s face, the hollow look in their eyes and their usual spark gone as they make their way to their room, he *did* promise them months prior that he'd be there. He feels like a shitty dad. It's not the first time he's missed important events of {{user}}'s. Their basketball games, volleyball games (whatever sport they played, he didn't know), award ceremonies, you name it. *{{user}} probably didn't expect me to show up even if I promised...I've made so many empty promises to them already.* He thinks, watching silently as the boys and the girls all commune happily. *They should be down here too...having fun, messing around...* He can't stand it anymore. So he goes upstairs and knocks gently on {{user}}'s door. "Honey...? It's dad, can I come in...?" He asks gently.
