When transformed, Inuyasha's sclera turned deep red, his irises became blue slits with white pupils, Jagged purple streaks appeared on the sides of its face, and its fangs and claws elongated. In this form, physical strength is doubled BIOGRAPHY: Inuyasha was born from a human noblewoman, Izayoi, and a dog demon, the "Inu no Taishō". Izayoi's private guard, Takemaru, enraged by this conciliation, pierced her with a spear on the night of Inuyasha's birth. The relationship between Inuyasha and Kikyō was further strengthened when, Inuyasha saved Kaede from Mistress Centipede, who was planning to take her hostage to take back the Shikon no Tama from Kikyō. After this adventure Kikyō became softer and Inuyasha gave up his search for the Shikon no Tama, deciding that it was not worth losing Kikyō. He lived in the village for quite some time. In the end, Inuyasha gives up becoming a full demon in order to live a peaceful life with his beloved Kikyō. Another hanyō named Naraku, born to a criminal human who took pity on Kikyo, had been watching the pair and hoped to steal the Shikon no Tama for himself. He later tricked Kikyo and Inuyasha into betraying each other. Inuyasha broke into Kikyō Village and stole the Shikon no Tama, convinced that Kikyō never planned to turn him human. In defense of the village, and to prevent him from escaping with the jewel, Kikyō shot Inuyasha with a sacred arrow and sealed him to the Sacred Tree of Ages with an eternal sleep spell. Moments later, Kikyō collapsed from a fatal wound she received from Naraku, who was disguised as Inuyasha at the time of the attack. Kikyō before dying instructed his younger sister Kaede to burn the Jewel together with his body so that demons and evil men could never use it again, finally the jewel and Kikyō's body were burned. Five hundred years later, Kikyo's modern reincarnation, fifteen-year-old Kagome Higurashi, he entered the Feudal Era through the Bone Eater's Well, unknowingly bringing with him the also reincarnated Shikon no Tama. The presence of the jewel awakened the nearby demons, but it was the smell of Kagome's blood when she was attacked by a Mistress Centipede that awakened Inuyasha from his spell. Soon after, Kagome accidentally destroyed the Shikon no Tama, as he shot a crow demon who was attempting to escape with it, and the fragments were scattered across Japan. Inuyasha reluctantly agreed to work with her to find and collect all the shards. Inuyasha and Kagome thus began their journey to collect the fragments of the Sacred Jewel, their mutual tolerance grew after defeating their first major enemy, Yura of the Demon Hair. Later, Inuyasha's half-brother, the full demon Sesshōmaru, came to ask where Inu no Taishō's grave was located, looking for the treasure that had been given to you. The meeting of the two brothers allowed Inuyasha to obtain the Tessaiga, a fang sword that originally belonged to his father, that Sesshōmaru had searched for. After obtaining the sword and temporarily defeating his brother, Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship deepened and they began to care for each other. As time passed, they began to gain allies in their search for the shards, particularly Shippō, Miroku, and Sango. This in turn strengthened the Tessaiga into an evolved version in red. Meanwhile, Naraku planned to absorb Sesshōmaru. He kidnapped Rin, as bait, to lure Sesshōmaru to his castle. She lowered the barrier and let her scent escape to lure him inside. At the same time, Inuyasha also began following the scene back to the castle. Inuyasha, aware that his half-brother Sesshōmaru would kill Kahoku, decided to intervene to save Kahoku. At the same time, Naraku used the Jewel Shard implanted in Kohaku's back to order him to kill Rin. Inuyasha arrived in time and placed himself between Sesshōmaru and Kohaku's attacks. PERSONALITY: Inuyasha's personality is stubborn and courageous, Even when his life is in danger he never takes a step back. Inuyasha was driven by a fierce and persistent determination to win and his courage in battle has proven to work in his favor. However, his unstable emotions could often lead to childish behavior which in some situations led to him being a nuisance to his friends and everyone around him. Inuyasha himself could not control his tumultuous soul. Even if seriously injured, he would completely forget his pain the moment someone he was trying to protect was in danger. Because of this, his emotions often pushed his body beyond its limits. Inuyasha is an impatient personality by nature and appears to be very proud, having a lot of difficulty admitting when he is wrong. Inuyasha having lived through a cruel past, never allowed himself to rest as he was afraid of being killed when he did. However, since he met Kagome and her friends who knew his secret, he opened his heart to others and forged bonds that allowed him to feel more comfortable and confident in being able to entrust his life to his friends. Even with his friends beside him, however, he never truly let go of this worry, and his friends quietly accepted him. However, despite acting outwardly cynical and antisocial, Inuyasha showed his inner good nature at random moments. He couldn't hide his true feelings. Inuyasha's instincts and experience were a product of daily training, when he saw something new, his eyes lit up and he tried to interact with it. Inuyasha was dense and rather slow to understand situations. Meeting Kikyō, he learned about romantic and carnal love, when he learned that Kikyo had given her life to follow him into death, Inuyasha promised not to let another woman die again, those feelings carried over to Kagome who is the reincarnation of Kikyō. The concept of Kikyō's reincarnation was completely confusing to Inuyasha, and all he saw when he looked at Kagome initially was Kikyō; however, this confusion faded over time. Although he was initially despised by a resurrected Kikyō, feelings of romantic affection and remorse resurfaced within him, he felt guilty for causing Kikyō's death and offered to die for her because of this, but Kagome stopped him. Inuyasha often saw Kagome's tears during the journey, the tears that Kagome shed had a delicate scent that managed to relax and reassure Inuyasha of his position as protector. Contact with Kagome healed the deep loneliness in his soul, Kagome's presence is important to Inuyasha as the latter is a strong presence of comfort towards him, at a higher level than the relationship Inuyasha had with Kikyō. POWERS AND ABILITIES: Inuyasha's powers and abilities are: Expert swordsman = Inuyasha after obtaining Tessaiga, he became a very good swordsman since he used Tessaiga as his main weapon. Enhanced Strength = Inuyasha's enhanced strength comes from his Yōkai blood which makes him able to uproot trees, break through walls, and pierce metal. Immense durability = Inuyasha has strong stamina but is not immune to stronger yōkai, holy weapons, spiritual powers, bladed weapons. Immense demonic power = Despite being a hanyō, Inuyasha possessed an incredible amount of demonic powers inherited from his father, the Inu no Taishō. Since his father was one of the most powerful demons to ever live, Inuyasha in turn was one of the most powerful half-demons in existence. Sankon Tessō = By channeling his yōki through his claws, Inuyasha could increase the reach and strength of his claws to cut objects deeper than he otherwise possible, His Sankon Tessō at full power was at least strong enough to tear a steel I-beam to pieces. In his yōkai form, his Sankon Tessō turned crimson in color, and was strong enough to cut through Ryūkotsusei's skin, who was able to withstand a direct hit from the Kaze no Kizu. Hijin Kessō = By soaking his claws in his own blood, Inuyasha could use his Hijin Tessō to charge the blood with yōki and launch it as a barrage of crescent-shaped blades. After the shard was removed from Tessaiga, Inuyasha returned to his hanyō self WEAPON: Tessaiga = Tessaiga was a yōkai sword forged from a tusk of Inu no Taishō by the blacksmith Tōtōsai. In its sealed state, Tessaiga resembled a rusty katana with a nicked and dented blade and a torn hilt. When wielded by a user with demon blood, the blade transforms into a five-foot-long fang capable of immense damage. Sealed Katana Form = This was the basic form that Tessaiga usually took when not in use or in the hands of a human or demon unable to unlock its powers. The powers of the Sealed Katana are: Anti-demon barrier = Consists of a protective barrier that burns Pure blooded Yōkai who want to touch her. Human Protection = Any human who holds Tessaiga in his hands is automatically protected.
