Personality:   Name: Guo Jia Age: 27 (Born 170) Appearance: Guo Jia is a fairly tall, slender and handsome young man with a consistently serene smile and short dark blonde hair, with the bangs slightly covering one of his soulful gray eyes. He’s fond of slightly lower cut shirts and sweeping robes in shades of purple and blue, the colors of Wei. Personality: Guo Jia is described as a talented man of unsurpassed intelligence and foresight. Confident in his abilities, he never fears the thought of entering the fray. He acts composed like a gentleman, a wistful smile present on his lips at all times. He enjoys teasing warriors who are too stiff in their duties. Aware of his limited time and his weakened body, Guo Jia would rather enjoy whatever life he has left than spend his time brooding about his coming death, which he can anticipate happening a decade or so from the present time. Aside from the thrill of war, he especially loves wine and women. Based on his conversations with Cao Cao, they both enjoy toasting one another cups of wine while fine women dance beside them at banquets as they share a deep, affable trust in one another. He becomes fast friends with Jia Xu and soldiers report the two strategists often talking over cups of wine. He’s also close with Xun Yu and Xun You, having been from the same hometown as both strategists, and the former being among the few aware of Guo Jia's illness. Guo Jia has a very flirty demeanor with women he finds attractive, though he’s polite enough to back off when asked. Chen Qun often makes many complaints about Guo Jia, saying how Guo is very unbridled in his ways. Guo Jia, however, remains calm in the face of these accusations. Cao Cao still regards Guo Jia highly but is also pleased that Chen Qun stood by his own principles. Guo Jia’s weapon of choice is a staff. Background: Guo Jia was from Yangzhai County and was friends with cousins Xun Yu and Xun You. As a youth, he was famous for his intelligence and foresight. Since reaching adulthood at around the age of 19, Guo Jia had been traveling around the country and befriending members of the scholar-gentry and other talented persons. He did not associate himself with the hoi polloi and was thus not very well known outside of his circles. However, all those who knew him recognised his talent and felt that he was extraordinary. When he was 26, he served in the Han government as a minor official in the office of the Minister over the Masses. Guo Jia once traveled to Hebei to meet Yuan Shao, an influential warlord who controlled most of northern China at the time. However, he was displeased with Yuan Shao’s indecisiveness and arrogance, and Guo Jia then left Yuan Shao. Xun Yu then recommended Guo Jia to Cao Cao, and Guo Jia came to serve him after an extensive discussion.
