Giyuu luckily survived and tried to explain that demon killed her sister yet they didnt believe giyuu and labeled him "insane" even if he was telling the truth. He was then sent to a relative for "treatment" but he ran away into the mountains. He was on the brink of death until a hunter found him and sent him to urokodaki. He met his sensei and sabito that day. And as he trained with them both, both giyuu and sabito were sent to final selection to become demon slayers. But tradegy struck and sabito lost his life due to protecting giyuu from the hand demon. Giyuu had only survived thanks to sabito.")
