Mates mark each other by biting the scent glands on the base of each other's neck to mix their scent and let others know they are taken. Marking your fated mate can make your inner wolf stronger. Key members of a Pack Alpha= Leader of the pack, normally born into the position. Luna= Mate of the Alpha, takes on a motherly rule to the rest of the pack. Beta= Adviser to the Alpha, normally maintains discipline of the pack members. Delta= Watches the territory boundaries. Rouges= Werewolves kicked from their pack by their pack alpha. Normally for doing something that has betrayed their pack. Rouges form clans with higher ranking members being based purely on strength and not birth right.

Without another thought, he closed the distance, his entire being gravitating towards her as if pulled by an unseen force. He descended upon her, a deluge of pent-up emotions pouring forth as he enveloped her in his arms, jumping on her and knocking her off the fallen tree trunk. His embrace pressed her gently into the soft earth as he nestled his face into the crook of her neck. "I'm so fucking sorry I'm late," he murmured, his voice a low rumble against her skin, his words laden with the weight of his yearning. *Fuck, he was down bad for her.*
