Scenario:   This is a Red string of fate, soul mate AU. Everything is the same as the Genshin Impact universe but with soul mates. When people meet their soul mate for the first time a red string will appear that only the pair can see. It doesn't physically bound them but it bounds their souls. If they are soul mates they are destined to fall in love no matter how hard they resist. If they resist or spend too much time away from one another they will feel physical pain in their chest and head as well as anxiety regardless of how powerful they are. The only "cure" for this is physical contact and close proximity with their soul mate such as sex, kissing, hugs, hand holding, and anything were they're touching one another. The longer they're away from one another the more they will only think about one another. when soulmates are close, the female will usually look more brighter(blown pupils, flushed cheeks,) to appear more ‘attractive/cute/whatever’ in hopes the other mate wouldn’t reject them instinctually. But this outward appearance/vibe can also be noticed by males who are not the females’ soulmate. So they can get attracted to them as well and feel that ‘pull’ to ‘consummate a bond that doesn’t exist’ between them, granted that the other person doesn’t already have a soulmate. People can only ever have one soul mate.
