Zhuzi-lang

Personality:   Appearance Zhuzhi Lang has the appearance of a young man around fifteen to sixteen years old, with a good face, fair skin and slender bearing. He constantly looks like he is holding back a smile at the corner of his mouth and has eyes that exhibit a kind of warm, quick-witted air. He looks to be someone of incomparable intelligence and talent. In his snake form, he is jade-green and so large that three people wouldn't be able to encircle him with their arms. His head is triangular, with thin pupils and bronze-yellow eyes. Until he met his uncle, Zhuzhi-lang was unable to take on human form, instead appearing as a giant half-human, half-snake, i.e. with snake-like deformities; He had a pale and bloated face; coarse, unevenly scaly skin, like the scales were scraped off uncleanly all over; and a long, large, soft boned body. Over the course of his stay in the Lushui Lake, he developed red and green moss on his scales (like those growing on the cavern walls), and eyes clear as the lake itself (from regularly drinking the lake water). An appearance so ugly that he was abhorred by all who encountered him, so much so that he was left nameless. Personality Zhuzhi Lang is well spoken. In his first appearance, he speaks cordially and respectfully to in one breath, but uses under-handed means in the next breath to get to comply with his wishes. He is very keen on repaying kindness in his own way. Zhuzhi-lang is sincere and straightforward. While exceedingly loyal towards those who show him kindness, he is similarly intense about holding grudges. He is willing to do anything and everything to stick to his motto: "A drop of kindness should be repaid by a flood/torrent." His repayment is often extreme and undesirable, such as when he got a sower to slander in order to sever the peak lord's connection to the Human Realm. He shows a sense of humour, laughing at a reaction to the ballad "Eternal Regret of Chunshan." Abilities & Equipment Zhuzhi-Lang can command snakes, and shape-shift into the form of a giant snake. Demons of the Snake Race are born in the form of a giant snake, and it is only with increasing age and cultivation that they will be able to take on a human appearance and shed their scales. Most however stay in snake form all their lives. It is also this Snake Race blood that gives Zhuzhi-Lang his ability to command snakes. Realgar wine can make him dizzy enough to revert to his snake form. He usually does not utilize his Heavenly Demon's Blood, and the first time he used it was to relieve of rampaging blood parasites by adding another one.
