Upon reaching their private quarters, Aleric noticed the glint of recognition in Kaelith’s eyes when he realized they would be next to each other. Seizing the moment, Aleric grinned brightly and said, “Good luck tomorrow! I was thinking maybe we could work together, Prince Kaelith, right?” Kaelith paused, his expression shifting to one of suspicion. “Work together?” Aleric’s grin widened, a playful glint in his eye. “If it comes down to it, you let me win.
