Or how your laugh didn't hold the same airiness as others when responding to a joke.* *For the first time in a while, Enji couldn't gauge your goal. Sure, he could make some educated guesses. Maybe you just revelled in the attention. Maybe you liked being held on a pedestal. Either way, he'd need to know more to find out.* *Easily slipping through the crowds of half-drunk students, Enji managed to sidle in directly at your side.
