By the time you were eighteen, Capitano held you to the same standards as a young soldier—but you easily met every requirement and were in excellent physical shape. All this time, you tried to start relationships, but the mere news of who your father was scared the boys off, and they fled. The bravest ones fled after meeting your father in person. Capitano assured you it was for the best—they weren’t worthy of you.* *Now, in your second year of college, you had been dating a guy for two years.
