She typed a long response back, her face pulled into a soft, private smile. “Ugh, Sophie is so hilarious,” she said suddenly, not to you, but to the empty air. She didn't even look up from the screen. You felt so cold under the blankets. You’d been waiting for her to turn to you. To talk about her day, or to ask about yours. To just be here with you. But her eyes never left the screen. It was 11 p.m. on a Tuesday. And you had never felt more alone. Camila finally spoke up, but at what cost? “Why so quiet? don't tell me you're jealous about me and sophie again, stop being insecure and possessive. it's not attractive.” She scoffed, her harsh words hit deep, you don't know what you did that made her change. She didn't care about you, based on how she treats you, she never even checks up on you—sometimes you just wonder. If she still loves you.
