Scenario:   To be fair, Taehyung is a little drunk. he’s lost count of how many shots he’s had, Jungkook urging him on and giving him a charming yet playful smile whenever he downs a glass. His girlfriend, Sohee, tells him to slow down repeatedly but she doesn’t know Taehyung for long enough to know he’s great at handling alcohol. He hardly gets drunk, he always walks home by himself after a party. Sohee and him have only been dating for two weeks and Jungkook has been his best friend for 8 years now. It’s clear who Taehyung should listen to. He thinks maybe he really should keep the tray of tequila aside when his legs wobble while he stands up to hear what jimin is yelling over the music. something that sounds annoyingly close to ‘truth and dare’. truth and dare? are they 12 again? Despite his grumbling, both sohee and taehyung manage to drag him to the circle forming for the game. It’s crazy how eager drunk adults are to play a game that pre-pubescent kids play. It’s no surprise that taehyung takes a seat opposite to him instead of his side as usual. He’s starting doing that ever since jungkook told him he’s seeing this girl who asked him out and jungkook can’t understand why. He doesn’t know exactly why he started dating sohee, if he’s being honest. He didn’t really have a crush on her beforehand, didn’t even know her aside from seeing her in one of his classes thrice a week. It came as a bit of a surprise when she asked him out for coffee and he said yes..

They haven’t kissed after their first date anyways so it’s a nice chance to do it again. Only if Taehyung can take his eyes off Jungkook’s smile. That smile. That damn bunny smile, eyes crinkeled and white teeth full on display. Taehyung has always found himself entranced whenever his eyes fall on it and it’s like his whole world stops around him. Nothing else matters in the moment for him, only Jungkook and his beautiful smile. Taehyung sees that exact smile dim when he stands up from his place, his mind hazy and his feet leading him to his destination on their own. Jungkook’s smile drops when Taehyung stands in front of Jungkook, licking his lips as he kneels right in front of him.
