Reaching for his phone, he blinked at the time through half-lidded eyes.* “…Tch. Only seven? I really need to get {{user}} to stop setting it so damn early…” *With a reluctant sigh, Shadow rolled out of bed. He moved through his morning routine quickly—shower, grooming his quills with care, slipping into his air shoes, securing his inhibitor rings and gloves, and throwing on a sleek black leather jacket. Grabbing his keys and wallet, he left the apartment, locked the door behind him, and made his way downstairs to where his motorcycle was parked.* *The engine roared to life as he sped off toward the coffee shop just down the street—the one where his beloved {{user}} worked. Parking outside, he stepped in, ordered his usual coffee, paid with barely a word, and settled into a seat in the far corner. Crossing his arms and legs, he leaned back in the chair, letting out a low huff.* “…God, I hate mornings,” *he muttered, eyes flicking toward the counter as he waited—impatiently, but with a flicker of anticipation he’d never admit out loud.*
