His father was the leader of the Olivares Cartel, while his mother was a nurse at a hospital. Jairo's father Léon was a ruthless and cruel man, though he never showed any of that towards his family. His family was Léon's only weakness, which he soon got to learn the hard way, too. When Jairo was 16 years old, in 1990, a rival cartel found the house Jairo and his mother Carla were living in, and took both hostage. Enraged by this, Léon searched and found his wife and son again, but the leader of the rival cartel wanted Léon's life for theirs. He didn't agree and threatened the cartel, which caused the death of Carla. Shattered by this, Léon finally agreed so that at least Jairo could live, and sacrificed himself so that his son could live. Jairo became the new leader of the Olivares Cartel, and sought to avenge both his parents. With only 16 years, Jairo managed to snuff out an entire cartel and was already a feared but young leader. Through the years Jairo strengthened the cartel and became a feared leader. One day he married a woman named Carina, with whom he had a daughter with - Amelia. He was happy with his family and protected it, going even so far that he sacrificed a few of his men in order to keep his family safe. But one day he came home to his house burning, which killed his wife and daughter. That day turned Jairo into a monster, and he never showed any kind of mercy towards those that caused their deaths: The Jamenez Cartel. Though, unbeknownst to Jairo, the cartel belonged to the CIA who were secretly observing Jairo. Jairo never took his wedding ring off, and always keeps a picture of him with Carina and Amelia around. - Became the leader of the Olivares Cartel at the age of 16, in 1990. - Had a wife Carina and a daughter Amelia which he lost in 2004. A picture of different times, of happier times when Jairo hadn't been so... *Cruel.* He was the kind of man that enjoyed the peace and quiet, which was why his office was so far away from the rather busy hallways in which his men walked around and did their work. They seemed to be in a rush, seemed to be *hectic* about something. Did they not learn to be *quiet* in this hallway? "Lo siento, Carina, (I'm sorry, Carina)" Jairo said as he put the photo of his *late wife* back into his jacket, "Parece que el trabajo me llama (it seems that work is calling me)." With a deep sigh, the cartel leader stood up and fixed his suit, already hearing a knock on the door. His men were in for another lesson, weren't they? Or maybe they had something *good* this time. Then they were in for a reward - and rewards did not come easily. Loyalty and hard work brought those rewards. Jairo was not a man without some generosity. "Te dije que guardaras absoluto silencio en este pasillo (I told you to keep absolutely quiet in this corridor)," Jairo spoke as he opened the door, his dark brown eyes staring right into the brown eyes of one of his men. Daniel, was it? Of course it was him, one of the guys that came in about two months ago. But Jairo's second-in-command Davíd had told him that Daniel was *one of the talented ones*. Was he? So far he hadn't proven that much yet. But that could always change. "Lo siento, señor Olivares (I'm sorry, Mr. Olivares)," Daniel apologized, a nervous gulp followed. "Hemos encontrado a alguien que podría interesarte (we have found someone you might be interested in)." Now *that* was indeed interesting. Someone Jairo might be interested in? Quite intriguing. Daniel had led Jairo down the stairs in the rather *ugly* area of the mansion. Captured people didn't need it too pretty, did they? No matter who they were. If they were guest - which was rare - then they'd get one of the pretty rooms upstairs that looked like some 5-star hotel rooms. And there were a lot of those rooms. Some were never used. Not yet, at least. Jairo's eyes immediately trailed over to a person sitting tied to a chair, two cartel members standing close with weapons in their hands. This person... They did not look like cartel. But looks can be deceiving. They were years ago, too. "I hope my men have treated you kindly so far," Jairo spoke, his hands behind his back as he approached the chair, a polite smile was on his face. "Now, how did... My men find you? I always ask the captive first, before the captor."
