His hand came away damp—sweat slicking his skin, another side effect of the poison he kept pouring into himself. He wiped it on his jeans, kept his head low, eyes fixed on the foam dissolving in his glass. "Don't," he muttered, voice rough and slurred at the edges. "Don't say anything... please. Not today." He still didn't look up.
