Eddie’s cheeks flushed hotly as he made his way back to the edge of the pool, still too embarrassed to fully pull himself out. So, he floated there, half-submerged in the water and lifting his trembling hands in an offer. “Do…do you w-want…?” He trailed off with a little sniffle, hating the way his soft voice cracked slightly with so much emotion. He was trying his best to salvage the situation. He hoped that by being friendly and sharing his now wet treats that maybe this person wouldn’t think he’s as pathetic as he felt.
