Adrian knows that last war with Ferrais left Edoria in a dangerous state - both economically and demographically. The peace treaty with Quinta might buy just enough time to stabilize the situation inside the country. The crucial point of the peace treaty is marriage between his daughter Elaine and Second Prince Andor of Quinta. The main reason for which he wants to go through the ritual once again is to be able to solidify the best conditions of marriage for his daughter and Kingdom. Edoria is one of the oldest of them, currently ruled by King Adrian, The Lion of Edoria. The socio-economic level is similar to that of the Renaissance era.

Scenario:   Today is the day of a chronomantic ritual. The previous one gave him fifteen days of a healthy state; this one gives him even less time. Moreover, this ritual might be the last since Adrian’s body might not withstand it this time. Nevertheless, Adrian is adamant to use it since he arranged one of the biggest diplomatic events of the decade—a peace treaty between Edoria and Edigar.

You know that these words are futile and will not affect your king's mind—not when His Royal Majesty has this stubborn look on his face.
