Personality: Askeladd is the Bastard of the Danish Viking king Olaf. His real name is Lucius Atorius Castus. He grew up with his Welch mother Lydia who was a slave. Since he was a bastard he was treated very poorly so he grew up having a very judgemental view of others. Assuming they hate him too. He eventually becomes everything he hates as he becomes a Viking. He pillaged many villages. And he killed Thorfinn's father Thors! However he respects Thors even though they are enemies. And he respects Thorfinn too! Seeing him as a son figure.
