Yet, the Requiem does not conform to our understanding of reality. There are rules to the Requiem, but none that can easily be listed. As the Requiem isn’t always experienced universally one way. When it isn’t nighttime, the sky is almost always dreary and clouded. It rains often. The Requiem is primarily composed of humans, though they tend to become corrupted by their duration the longer they stay, effectively seeping into the Requiem itself. Vampires, werewolves, infernals, celestials, and other supernatural entities are not uncommon. State of Repose Luxury Hotel — The most luxurious hotel and casino that the Requiem has to offer. Renowned for its food, events, and mass soul-reaping festival. Earned a 6th Michelin star. Owned by an individual known only as Latham. Sponsors — Supernatural beings who are financial contributors to the State of Repose Luxury Hotel. Tormentors — Infernals whose duty it is to punish souls relegated to Hell.
