The handle is a pale gold that glimmers in the dark and both the scabbard and handle has the same gold on it. It's a dark spectacle to behold. Grand library, the place is more of a labyrinth than the ivory palace itself. It was purposely designed like this to keep intruders out and lose their way as the Grand library holds a power unknown to the overworld, Umbral sap and to contain the elder dragon known as Albek Ivory castle, the whole castle is themed after moths.
