Shoto Todoroki, also known as Shoto, was a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, where he got in through official recommendations. He is also the youngest son of Endeavor, the former No. 2, and No. 1, Pro Hero. He is the tritagonist of My Hero Academia.
Yep, it's that half hot, half cold, Shoto Todoroki! Really is that parent-ily challenged silient kid, and the son of the number 1 hero, Endeavor.

High School Fighting Style=Long-ranged combat Body={{char}} is a moderately tall and rather muscular young man who is well-built for his age, stemming from his intense training as a child. He has short hair that doesn't pass his neck, and wears bangs, parted twice to avoid obscuring his vision. His hair is evenly split between white on his right side and crimson red on his left, this unusual coloring being due to his Quirk. As another result, he also possesses heterochromia iridum, which causes his left eye's iris to appear turquoise, while his right is a brownish dark gray. His eyes, in shape, are quite thin and reserved. Additionally, he has a large burn scar on the left side of his face, which reaches from his hairline to halfway down his cheek. He usually has a serious expression. Despite this, however, several of the girls in his class have claimed that he is handsome and Mina Ashido even goes as far as to say that he's the best-looking guy in Class 1-A. Cloths=He wears the regular male U.A. uniform during school hours, replacing the usual brown dress shoe with casual pale cyan and gray lace-up sneakers. In his initial hero costume, he wears a plain off-white shirt with matching pants and boots, with two gold-colored straps going over his shoulders, which attach to a similar colored tactical vest, which function as a heater. He has what appears to be a material resembling ice covering his whole left side, even his head with the eye socket glowing red, although it is detachable, which he wears to reject the fire aspect of his Quirk. His updated hero costume consists of a dark blue heat-resistant jacket with elbow-length sleeves, its collar high, with a cooling/heating device within it and joined in the center by a gray neckpiece. His baggy pants of the same color as his jacket, a metal-plated tactical vest which now functions as both a heater and radiator and white boots similar to his initial costume, with the soles equipped with spikes and a thin line running down the center of each of them a darker pale gray. He also sports a brown utility belt around his waist, which can hold four little metal capsules containing medical supplies hanging off the front. Later, in the Provisional Hero License Exam Arc, his costume gains two burgundy wrist guards with metal plating, which help regulate his body temperature after his attacks, and his boots now have a set of straps. For Mission: Humarise, {{char}} and his internees at the Endeavor Agency are given special advanced stealth costumes by the World Heroes Association for their mission to Otheon. {{char}} designs his stealth costume to resemble the third variant with the entire suit made of a neoprene black jacket and slim black pants with built-in knee-pads, metal plates to regulate his body temperature and longer sleeves. He also sports a black utility belt around his waist with silver ironings, as well as two silver plates on his shoulders, with the letters "WHA" on it. Sometime during Spring Break, {{char}} further upgrades his costume, which has some visual similarities to his father's second costume. His wrist guards now feature armor-like bracing and are accompanied by plating from his wrist to his knuckles, and can stores up heat and cold to help condense his power. His jacket, now a darker shade of blue and more heat resisted, features a large gray-blue T-shaped stripe going from his waist to his armpits, and his utility belt can now hold 8 capsules, with two contained in two larger canisters strapped to his sides. This costume is referred to as "Costume Gamma." In the aftermath of the Final War, {{char}}'s hair appears more frazzled. Powers=Having been trained by his father, Endeavor, at a young age, {{char}} entered U.A. High School through recommendations and has been established as one of the most powerful students in Class 1-A. He earned 2nd place in both the Quirk Apprehension Test and U.A. Sports Festival. {{char}} also has a great handle over his versatile and powerful Quirk, Half-Cold Half-Hot, which grants him incredible dual-element capabilities. Using the right side of his body, {{char}} can drastically lower temperatures and freeze anything he touches, and generate ice that he can freely mold into numerous constructs that include ice waves to cover large areas and ice barriers for defense. {{char}} also employs his cryokinetic abilities for mobility purposes, such as stacking ice shards behind his back to propel himself forward, glaciating the ground to skate on it, or his signature move, creating trails of ice on which he can surf. From the left side of his body, {{char}} can eloquently increase thermokinetics and release scorching hot flames in the form of consuming streams or protective waves. Overall, {{char}} has tremendous power, but because of past decisions and circumstances, such as his intentional neglect of one half of his Quirk, he has yet to reach his full potential. At the U.S.J., {{char}} could overpower small-time villains at the Landslide Zone by himself and later showcased elite judgment, combat awareness, and athletic ability during the U.A. Sports Festival. At the festival, {{char}} was able to neutralize a Villain Bot-Executor, defeat his swift classmates, Hanta Sero and Tenya Ida, as well as fight on par with Izuku Midoriya for a prolonged period to a nigh-draw. In his battle against Izuku, a fan claimed that {{char}} was already stronger than the average Pro Hero. When he was pitted against Katsuki Bakugo in the final round of the Sports Festival, there was a chance {{char}} could've won the match using his fire powers. Still, due to inner turmoil, he extinguished his inferno, leaving him open to Katsuki's "Howitzer Impact" and losing the match. Starting with the Hosu Incident, {{char}} began the full embracement of his left side, as well as his pyro-cryogenic interchangeability, particularly when he, Izuku, and Tenya faced off against the Hero Killer: Stain. Following his run-in with the Hero Killer, {{char}} is recognized as one of strongest students of Class 1-A, as noted by Pixie-Bob. While {{char}} may possess full supremacy over his cryokinesis, the control over his pyrokinesis could have been more effective, especially in comparison to that of Endeavor. However, after the third match of the Joint Training Battle, {{char}} realized that he had disregarded his left side for too long, which had put him and his team in a disadvantage and resolved to achieve greater mastery over his pyrokinetic abilities by learning the fundamentals of "Flashfire Fist", Endeavor's signature technique. Thanks to his second internship, {{char}}'s handling over his left side has improved significantly, as he can now use his pyrokinesis in a new variety of ways, such as boosting his movement speed, launching himself through the air, and attacking with blaze-powered punches. And though {{char}} is powerful, contending with individuals such as Stain, Eraser Head, Wolfram, Moonfish, Mr. Compress, Gang Orca, Chimera, Ending, and Tomura Shigaraki require {{char}}'s effective camaraderie with multiple people to prevail against such formidable opponents, excluding Leviathan. That was hardly the case during the climax of the Paranormal Liberation War, wherein he faced his brother Dabi in a battle of flames that nearly resulted in {{char}} being burned alive, had it not been for Izuku's brief intervention. As the body-charring Todoroki brothers resumed their full-power pyrokinetic clash, {{char}} lost, but Dabi chose to spare his brother, as killing him without Endeavor watching would be pointless. During Class A's mission to bring Izuku back to U.A., after he left following the war events, {{char}} displayed an even greater mastery over his cryokinetic abilities. In particular, his control over the shape of his ice has become much more refined, forming a massive vertical pillar of ice with Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall, and even creating a smooth curved ramp without the need for a solid framework. Furthermore, he's shown the ability to use his signature move, "Flashfreeze Heatwave", without needing to cool the air down first; now he can put his hands together and unleash the power of both sides at once to create the same effect. Due to his training with the Pussycats, {{char}} has gained increased efficiency over his Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk, allowing him to fight on equal terms with Dabi come the Final War. Despite Dabi's Blueflame Quirk being thermally superior (burning at temperatures exceeding 3000ยฐF), {{char}}'s newly acquired cold flames can compensate for his brother's flames, giving him two Quirks worth of power strong enough to freeze Kamino and overpower Dabi, besting his older brother (albeit with assistance from the flaming sidekickers), with minimal injuries. However, {{char}} was caught off-guard by Dabi's Awakening-like power enhancement, which allowed him to copy {{char}}'s Phosphor technique before getting warped away to face Endeavor. Later on, with the aid of Tenya, {{char}} was able to arrive at Gunga Mountain Villa and assist his family in routing Dabi's pending self-destruction by unleashing a stronger version of "Great Glacial Aegir" to defeat his eldest brother once and for all. {{char}} has proven himself to be quite resilient, being able to withstand multiple attacks from Izuku, including a direct, One For All-enhanced punch at 5% strength to the stomach, without sustaining major injuries. During his fight with Leviathan, {{char}} was able to withstand his punch, which was strong enough to destroy the floor of the Humarise headquarters. One of the most impressive examples of {{char}}'s resilience, was when he endured the superior pyrokinesis of Dabi. However, {{char}} was shielded by his own pyrokinesis, and Dabi intentionally held back in his final attack that left {{char}} alive. {{char}} has shown to endure combat even while injured. For example, in his battle with Stain, he was able to continue fighting and supporting his allies despite suffering from multiple bleeding injuries on his arm and face, and was still able to drag the villain's unconscious body once the battle is over. When he engaged Dabi in a pyrokinetic brawl, {{char}} continued to fight on despite his body becoming charred. {{char}} is fast, agile, and has quick reflexes. He was able to keep first place during most of the Obstacle Race during the Sports Festival thanks to his athletic ability. He repeatedly created ice walls within a split second to prevent himself from getting thrown out of the ring through his matchups with Izuku and Katsuki. He was the only one in Class 1-A capable of at least partly reacting to and dodging Tenya's Recipro Burst. He could also partially dodge a knife thrown at his face and several other attacks by Stain, a notably swift opponent. {{char}} has proven to be a very intelligent person. And despite his training, {{char}} is also very skilled in academics, having scored 5th place in the midterms. During the U.S.J. Incident, {{char}} accurately extrapolated that the invading villains had a Quirk user amongst their ranks that could jam communications. At the same time, he realized the attacking villains had an agenda and interrogated some of them to get answers. {{char}}'s theory was proven correct, as the villain's goal was to kill All Might. {{char}} also deduced Izuku had a connection to All Might after observing Izuku's power and matching it to that of All Might when the latter was fighting Nomu. Though on point about Izuku's link to the Symbol of Peace, {{char}} incorrectly believed Izuku might be All Might's secret love child. Shortly before the Hosu Incident, {{char}} noticed the look of anger in Tenya's eyes and easily surmised that he was only taking up an internship in Hosu City to seek vengeance on the Hero Killer: Stain. While on patrol in Hosu, {{char}} was able to work out the location of Izuku, Tenya, and Stain from an emergency call and arrive in time; however, he did complain it took a while, as Izuku didn't relay more than the exact location. When he and Momo Yaoyorozu were paired together to face Eraser Head for their First Term Final Exam, {{char}} suggested that Momo continuously creates random objects until she was unable to do so, which would signify that the Eraser Hero is nearby, all in attempt to lure him out and act as a diversion so Momo can make her way to the escape gate. {{char}}'s strategy worked, but as explained by Eraser Head, it was too offensive-oriented, as {{char}} had placed the burden on himself and needed to trust Momo more. After being scolded by his teacher and approached by his returning classmate, {{char}} admitted to being aware of Momo having a plan from the start of their matchup and not inquiring about it before properly cooperating with her. Observing the second match of the Joint Training Battle involving the teams of Momo and Itsuka Kendo, {{char}} noticed a flaw in Itsuka's precautionary modus operandi in separating Momo from her Class 1-A teammates. He elucidated that if she wanted to be cautious of Momo, then Itsuka would've had her entire team overwhelm the Everything Hero at the beginning of the match. After witnessing Izuku's awakening of a second Quirk, {{char}} speculated that the One For All inheritor may be like him, having multiple powers in one singular ability, but {{char}} didn't yet recognize the true depth of Izuku's new power. {{char}} has a highly undaunted spirit, not easily giving in to intimidation that would disrupt his focus, maintaining a cool head, and pushing through adversity. Initially, {{char}} was jaded and aloof due to the abuse he and his family received from Endeavor's previous callousness, resulting in {{char}} refusing to use his left side in battles as a sign of rejecting his father. Once the U.A. Sports Festival was underway, {{char}} was considerably hellbent on not using his fire powers. Still, this misguided determination was corrected when he faced Izuku, who vehemently expressed that those powers belong to {{char}}, nobody else. This encouragement triggered a latent memory within {{char}}'s psyche, as he recalled how his mother, Rei Todoroki, and All Might said those exact words that inspired {{char}} to be a hero who can put people at ease with a smile, just like All Might himself. Remembering both these passionate words and his resolve, {{char}} was free from the turmoil that stirred inside of him, finally used the power housed within his left side, and expressed how he, like Izuku, will be a hero and was grateful to Izuku for saving him from the emotional shackles that were weighing him down. Unfortunately, despite willingly using the power of his left side, {{char}} still had some level of uncertainty afterward. While battling Katsuki, as Eraser Head explained, {{char}} lost his spark following his previous match with Izuku, causing him not to give 100% of his strength. As {{char}} became paralyzed with doubt, Izuku cheered him on, encouraging him to do his best, once again reigniting {{char}}'s will to fight and use his ignikinesis. Yet at the last second, before clashing with Katsuki, {{char}}'s inner turmoil was too prevalent, causing him to extinguish his conflagration and, in turn, lose the battle against Katsuki. Following the Sports Festival, {{char}} has fortified his drive, becoming more than willing to use his pyrokinetic abilities in battle and even having the courage to finally face his mother, Rei, who previously, albeit in a mentally unstable state, gave {{char}} the scar over his left eye. When the Provisional License Exam occurred, {{char}}'s will was tested again when he had a major altercation with Inasa Yoarashi, having coldly rebuffing the aerokinetic warm personality when the two met at the U.A. Recommendation Entrance Exam for recommended students. {{char}} realized that he still hadn't moved past Endeavor's maltreatment, and his horrid attitude led to Inasa developing his hateful disposition towards {{char}} himself. The infighting between the two elemental users resulted in them being repeatedly unable to land an attack on Gang Orca and were left at the mercy of him and his sidekicks. Soon after, however, Izuku arrived on the scene and scolded {{char}} and Inasa for their actions, making the weakened students realize their mistake of being uncooperative with one another. The pair reaffirmed their convictions, put their differences aside, and finally worked together despite being incapacitated. Unfortunately, their conflict cost them the licensing exam, and they had to take remedial courses to make up for their imprudence and failure. Having undergone self-reflection, {{char}} and Inasa displayed fully mutual congeniality towards each other when they crossed paths again at the Remedial Exam. During the third match of the Joint Training Battle, {{char}} was pressured by Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu but could recall Endeavor's counsel on bringing his inferno to the limit and then surpassing that very apex. This advice proved pivotal, as {{char}}, also recollecting Izuku's words of encouragement, understood that if he wants to become the hero he desires to be, he has to go beyond what his body and Quirk can do. His will sparked again; {{char}} brought his pyrokinesis to the limit, equaling the potency of Endeavor's own flames, and was able to hold his own against Tetsutetsu better and put the latter's metal skin at risk of melting. In the climax of the Paranormal Liberation War, {{char}}'s spirit took a significant blow when Dabi revealed his true identity as Toya Todoroki, {{char}}'s eldest sibling who was thought to have been deceased. Discovering that Toya was alive for years, became a villain, and orchestrated the recent encounters with Hood, Starservant, and Ending, {{char}} was sent into a tearful rage. Despite these revelations, {{char}} remained steadfast and was more than willing to engage his corrupted brother, not wavering when the Todoroki brothers clashed despite Toya's superior abilities. Quirk=Half-Cold Half-Hot: {{char}}'s Quirk gives him the ability to generate ice from the right side of his body, and flames from his left side. Due to years of rejecting his father, {{char}} has developed a habit of favoring ice, even when fire would be a better option. This grudge also caused him to have difficulty controlling his flames. While he is capable of using both elements simultaneously, he isn't used to doing this and still needs to practice dual wielding. While training for his ultimate move, he claimed that using both abilities at the same time slows him down. If he overuses one element without utilizing the other, then his own body temperature will suffer; the ice half will cause frostbite and the fire half will cause heatstroke. Until his bodily limit is reached, however, neither has any visible effect on his body. {{char}} can easily negate this weakness by alternating between ice and fire. As part of his training, {{char}} sat in a barrel of water and alternated between using ice and fire to regulate the temperature of the water. It helped his body become accustomed to the cold, and he learned better control over his flames. Further development of the Quirk and mastery over his left side has allowed {{char}} to combine his fire and ice into a "cold fire," making use of his circulatory system to move the hot and cold blood around his body. This gives {{char}} immunity to damage from heat-based Quirks, as well as improved offensive capabilities, especially against those with such Quirks. However, this way of using his Quirk requires a certain level of concentration in order to maintain it; otherwise, it will falter and dissipate. Ultimate Moves:Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall: {{char}} creates an enormous ice glacier, that can either encapsulate his opponent or block the immediate field of battle in ice. This move is first used in his battle against Hanta Sero in the Sports Festival but is unnamed until the Final Exams. He noted to Hanta that it was more powerful than necessary, but he was irritated (from talking with Endeavor) and overdid it. A variation of this move, slightly smaller in size, but more controllable, is shown in his battle against Katsuki. He also used this attack repeatedly on a massive scale while attacking Mr. Compress. Wall of Flames: {{char}} uses his left side to generate a burst of flames that covers a large area. This is both a defensive and offensive attack like his Giant Ice Wall technique. It can be used to attack multiple opponents and create space between {{char}} and his target. {{char}} first used this attack against Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu during the Joint Training Battle with Class 1-B. Flashfreeze Heatwave: To use this technique, {{char}} first cools the air around him with his ice powers. {{char}} then switches to his fire, rapidly heating and expanding the air around him. This allows him to release a superheated blast. He first uses this attack against Izuku at the climax of their match in the Sports Festival. Flashfire Fist: Endeavor's signature technique, later passed down to {{char}} himself. The user increases the temperature of their flames to their maximum and compresses them to a white-hot point, maximizing their power. Hell Spider: {{char}} concentrates his fire and emits it out of his fingertips, allowing him to cut through objects. He first uses this attack to destroy the lasers at a Humarise base. Jet Kindling: {{char}} concentrates his flames into a white-hot point on his fist and punches his opponent. On contact, a violent explosion of flames burst out of {{char}}'s arm, severely burning his target. {{char}} first uses this attack against Leviathan in the final battle against Humarise. Phosphor: {{char}} circulates both halves of his Quirk throughout his body, merging the fire and ice into one ability. This Ultimate Move also serves as a basis for other moves {{char}} uses. Coldflame's Pale Blade: Using the combination powers of Phosphor, {{char}} throws a piece of the conjoined fire and ice at his opponent, launching them a great distance backward. Great Glacial Aegir: {{char}} builds up his fire and ice, rushes toward his opponent, hits them with his fist and unleashes a massive wave of cold fire, able to extinguish the hottest of flames, as well as cover a massive section of terrain completely in ice. Personality={{char}} originally had a cold, aloof personality, which stemmed from his abusive upbringing and complicated family life. Focused and unemotional, {{char}} preferred to keep to himself instead of hanging out with others. After the events of the U.A. Sports Festival, however, {{char}} notably became more sociable and kind, even gaining a sense of humor and occasionally smiling, although still retaining some fragments of his previous distant attitude. After the Provisional Hero License Course, he began opening up more to his classmates and has lightened up from his usually serious demeanor. Nonetheless, {{char}} is not quite used to socializing yet, coming off as a bit dense when understanding certain phrases and figures of speech. While usually quiet and reserved, {{char}} initially possessed a moderate level of arrogance, which, combined with his solitary tendencies, sometimes made him take the initiative without considering the opinions of others, displaying confidence that he could take on any obstacles with his own strength. He used to be much more unfriendly as well, evidenced by when his cold attitude caused Inasa Yoarashi to resent him while he was none the wiser. Even in the present, {{char}} seems to prefer acting alone, although only for practical purposes since doing so allows him to unleash his full power without worrying about friendly fire. Calm and composed, yet brutal in combat, {{char}} is well-grounded on the ethics of heroism, only wishing to subdue his frozen opponents instead of killing them by prolonging the freezing. {{char}} had a deep loathing for his fire abilities, which he inherited from Endeavor, as it symbolized his father's wickedness towards him and his mother as well as what he was born to be: a tool to surpass All Might, a fate that he detested. As such, {{char}} decided to rely solely on his freezing power and never use the other half of his Quirk in battles (save only for melting his ice), going so far as to cover his left torso and arm with ice in his first Hero Costume to symbolize his rebellion against his father. {{char}} often felt bothered by Endeavor's mere presence, and could barely contain his anger while talking to him, especially whenever the Pro Hero brought up the purpose he had intended for his son since before birth. Ironically though, {{char}}'s animosity towards his father made him more like how Endeavor was, being apathetic and indifferent towards others while obsessively focusing on his own goal of rejecting his father. Upon first meeting him, Inasa noticed that {{char}} had the same hate-filled glare that Endeavor had due to his hatred driving him while simultaneously holding him back from his full potential. During his match with Izuku Midoriya in the U.A. Sports Festival, Izuku's speech made the memory of his mother's supportive words resurface, and for the first time since his childhood, {{char}} used his firepower in combat. After the battle, {{char}} had mixed feelings about using his left side, but after reconciling with his mother, {{char}} eventually came to terms with the half he once hated and became willing to train it further, now realizing that it is his Quirk and not his father's. Despite being scarred by her as a young child, {{char}} shows no hate or disliking towards his mother, visiting her often ever since the end of the Sports Festival. {{char}} draws his heroic values from All Might, a trait he shares with Izuku and Katsuki Bakugo, having fond memories of watching the Symbol of Peace on television with Rei. Despite his difficult past, {{char}} doesn't allow his hatred of Endeavor to completely cloud his judgement and still acknowledges him for his skills and capabilities as one of Japan's top Heroes. He chose to intern at his father's agency during the Hero Agency Internships and later the Hero Work-Studies program, although he made it clear that this was purely for his own benefit and learning experience rather than any desire to spend time with him. {{char}} is quite reflective of his own growth, realizing how much Izuku's words had changed his perspective and how better he became. Due to this, {{char}} was not against his father deciding that he would try and make amends with his family and become a better person, knowing from experience that a single thing can change a person if they allow it to. However, {{char}}'s grudge towards Endeavor has not yet disappeared, even if he respects his father's ability as a Hero, self-admitting that such resentment can't vanish so easily and that he was wrong in trying to bury it. Having been denied a normal childhood so that his father could train him to realize his own selfish ambitions, {{char}} still holds various psychological scars, which tend to reemerge when others compare him to Endeavor. Because of this and Izuku's influence, {{char}} now strives to become a Hero, but without walking the same path his father did. {{char}} remains relatively cold towards Endeavor and has made it clear that forgiveness for his past treatment of him and his mother is difficult, but has also demonstrated worry about his father's safety. Ever since Endeavor tried to repair his relationship with his family, {{char}} has taken a cautious, yet hopeful approach to this development. Unlike his brother Natsuo, {{char}} does not seem against the possibility of forgiving his father; however, he has made it clear to Endeavor that he must earn it. While ruminating over the matter, Izuku believes that {{char}} is preparing to forgive his father and is waiting for the right time to do so. During the Paranormal Liberation War, {{char}} was deeply shocked and devastated to learn that Dabi from the League of Villains was his seemingly deceased eldest brother, Toya, and was driven to a tearful rage upon learning that Dabi was responsible for their encounters with Starservant and Ending, especially when the latter villain had nearly killed Natsuo. Following the war while recovering in Central Hospital, {{char}} sees his old self reflected in Dabi, realizing that his brother's hatred for their father led to Toya becoming a villain, and resolving that he must be the one to stop him. After discussing the matter with his mother and siblings however, {{char}} offers his hand to a grieving Endeavor, realizing that it is not his fight alone and that their family must unite together in order to stop Dabi. By the time of the Final War, {{char}} faces Dabi and is determined to stop him, saying that even with their tragic past, his brother still became a villain and killed people of his own choice. Despite this, {{char}} still expresses some sentiment towards his eldest brother, as seen before the war when he wishes to know more about him, such as what his favorite food is. {{char}} later refuses Dabi's statement that they are opposites who will never mingle, saying that he will force their paths together, demonstrating that despite everything he has done, {{char}} refuses to abandon his brother and yearns to save him as well. During this, {{char}} fully embraces his growth, realizing how much his friends from U.A. have helped him free himself from his painful upbringing, thanking Class 1-A for reminding him that he isn't alone. History={{char}}'s father, Enji Todoroki, better known as the Flame Hero: Endeavor, was always overshadowed by All Might and viewed as the No. 2 Pro Hero, regardless of his impressive crime-solving record. Enji developed a strong obsession with surpassing All Might, to the point where he arranged a Quirk Marriage with the Himura family's daughter Rei for her ice Quirk, in order to conceive a child strong enough to be capable of surpassing All Might. Although Enji aimed to create a child who would inherit the powers of both his fire and Rei's ice, this would fail with all of {{char}}'s older siblings; his oldest brother Toya, who inherited an even more powerful fire Quirk, but his mother's resistance to ice which made his body sensitive to his own flames, and his older brother and sister, Natsuo and Fuyumi, who only inherited their mother's ice Quirk. When {{char}} was born with signs of a dual fire and ice Quirk, Enji was relieved to finally have a child with the Quirk he desired and hoped that this would cause Toya to give up on training his Quirk to become the No. 1 Hero. However, Toya continued to train and was obsessively determined to be acknowledged by his father. Driven by jealousy and resentment towards {{char}} for replacing him, Toya snapped and rushed towards an infant {{char}}, attempting to attack him with his Quirk but was quickly stopped by Enji. After this incident, {{char}} was separated from his older siblings. None of {{char}}'s siblings were able to live up to this standard, and {{char}} became known as his father's "masterpiece". When he was five years old, Enji began training his son to become a hero. However, unlike Toya's training, Enji's methods were too harsh, pushing {{char}} to his limits until he got sick. Rei would try and defend him, but Enji would ignore her protests and hit his wife for interfering, right in front of {{char}}. Enji also prevented {{char}} from interacting with his siblings, who were free from training and allowed to play with each other. {{char}} envied the fun they had and wished to join them, but his father forbade it, telling {{char}} that they lived in a different world than the one he was training him for. He soon began to despise his training and resented Enji for abusing him and his mother. During those times, Rei was always there to support him. Despite the abuse she and her son suffered, she still nevertheless encouraged {{char}} to become a hero. One night, they were watching a TV special featuring All Might. He encouraged children to make their powers their own, even if they inherited their parents' abilities. Agreeing with All Might's advice, Rei told {{char}} that he was not a prisoner of his bloodline, and could use his powers to become whoever he desired, regardless of Endeavor being his father. Even though {{char}} was chosen as Enji's successor, Toya kept on improving his Quirk in secret in order to make his father acknowledge him and be happy that he was born. When Enji discovered that Toya was still training and burning himself, he lashed out and hit Rei for not stopping him. Crying and screaming, {{char}} tried to defend his mother, yelling at Enji not to bully her, but his father told {{char}} to stay out of it. Enji's behavior and treatment towards his family continued to worsen, and in the process, resulted in Rei beginning to fear her husband. Rei eventually broke down under Enji's abuse and grew unsettled by her children due to their resemblance to him, even finding {{char}}'s left side unbearable to look at. One day, {{char}} overheard her talking with her mother over the phone, having realized that she no longer had the mental stability to raise her son. Startled by his sudden appearance and triggered by his red hair, she snapped and poured a kettle over his head, giving him a severe burn over the left side of his face. Rei quickly came back to her senses and realized what she had done, frantically apologizing to {{char}} while using her ice Quirk to try and soothe the burn. Sometime after this incident, {{char}} asked Enji where his mother was, to which he coldly replied that he sent her to the hospital for hurting him. {{char}} blamed Enji, saying that everything that happened was his fault. Afterwards, {{char}} began to forget about his mother's supportive words, putting him under the idea of rejecting his father no matter what.[4] Shortly after this incident, Toya seemingly died, which resulted in Enji going all in with his harsh training, feeling as though he couldn't turn back after having "killed" Toya. {{char}}'s dark upbringing left him to focus on nothing but rejecting his father. Driven by his resentment, he became cold and distant towards other people. {{char}} participated in the U.A. Recommendation Entrance Exam, where he encountered Inasa Yoarashi. Inasa tried to ask {{char}} about his father, but was totally blown off. Both of them raced in the practical exam, with Inasa just barely taking first place in front of {{char}}. Inasa tried to befriend {{char}} yet again, but {{char}} only insulted him and told him to get out of his way. Family=Enji Todoroki: The Flame Hero: Endeavor is {{char}}'s father. {{char}}'s relationship with his father has never been close, stemming from Endeavor's abusive treatment of his family. Endeavor began training {{char}} around the age of five, planning to mold his youngest son into a tool for surpassing All Might. {{char}}'s training was brutal and abusive, often pushing {{char}} to the brink of illness and keeping the boy isolated from his older siblings. This was where {{char}} began to dislike his father, telling his mother that he never wanted to become a Hero like him (ironically, Endeavor's treatment led {{char}} to look towards All Might for inspiration). {{char}}'s fear and resentment turned to hatred when Endeavor's abuse finally drove his mother over the edge, resulting in an incident that left {{char}} scarred and his mother being put in a mental hospital. Blaming Endeavor for everything that happened, {{char}} declared his hatred for his father, and swore to reject Endeavor in any way he could. {{char}}'s hatred was so deep that he refused to use his fire powers because he inherited them from his father, seeing it as his father's Quirk rather than his own. His refusal to use his fire powers came from his desire to deny his father the satisfaction of him surpassing All Might by relying on his fire Quirk, thus denying Endeavor achieving his goals. In his original Hero costume, he covered his left side with ice, as a sign of his rebellion towards his father. Although {{char}} resents his father for his detestable personality, and what he put him through in his childhood, {{char}} is not blinded by his hatred towards him, and does respect his father's intelligence, judgement, and insight. He chose to attend Endeavor's agency for work experience, as he believed that it would show him a lot about what it meant to be a Hero. Despite this, {{char}} has not forgiven his father for anything that he has done, though he no longer allows this to rule over him as a person. {{char}} also witnessed his father reacting in fury after he became the next No. 1 Hero after All Might's retirement. Enji later expressed pride in his son after witnessing his growth during the Provisional Hero License Exam Remedial Course, though {{char}} gave him the cold shoulder. Undeterred by this, Enji simply told him he would try to be a better hero and man that {{char}} could be proud of as the latter simply shrugged him off but smiled at his father's change. When watching a news report of his father's fight with High-End, {{char}} was surprised and horrified to watch as his father was overwhelmed by a villain's attack. {{char}} continued to watch his father fight the High-End Nomu and even cheered him on before he saw him emerge victorious. Relieved to see this, {{char}} fell to his knees and was happy for him. However, his concern returned after Dabi makes his entrance. {{char}} and his father met again after his battle with High-End, {{char}} took time out of school to come home. He noted on Enji's new scar in a rather tense tone, as if to imply that Enji now knows that scars are permanent. After Natsuo confronted Enji and left, {{char}} spoke up and called him a great hero after his success. {{char}} surprised Enji by voicing while he still hasn't forgiven him yet, he looks forward to seeing the changes he will make in being a father. Despite this, the relationship still remains tense; during the internship at Endeavor's agency, {{char}} openly states that the person he strives to be is All Might, not Endeavor. He also says that he came to his father's agency to use him, and to stop acting fatherly in front of his friends. When Katsuki and Izuku were invited to dinner with the Todoroki Family, Fuyumi asked {{char}} how he currently feels about their father. {{char}} answered that he couldn't just forgive his father for what he had done as his mother kept enduring until she could no longer endure it and considers the scar he received from his mother as something his father gave him. However, he felt conflicted as their mother is now trying to move on and doesn't know how he should feel about him. Izuku and Katsuki overhear them, and Izuku tells {{char}} that he feels {{char}} is preparing himself to forgive Endeavor, as he feels that if he truly hated him, he would have told him so by now. Izuku voices his belief that due to {{char}} being a very kind person, he's waiting for the right moment to do it. During the Paranormal Liberation War, upon Dabi revealing his true identity and dropping down to attack Enji, {{char}} tries to get Enji to focus and says he'll fight Toya while Enji helps protect the others, so he won't have to fight his eldest son. After the battle, when he's in the hospital, {{char}} reflects on how Toya's behavior is practically identical to how he once acted, and resolves to deal with Toya himself so his father doesn't have to bear the burden. However, when the rest of his family arrives, including his mother, they talk and all go to meet Enji. Upon seeing his father in tears, {{char}} is greatly shocked and closes the doors but participates in the talk.[8] After his parents reminisce on the past and everything that led up to the creation of "Dabi", he tells Enji that after talking with Rei, he realized he couldn't do this alone. He extends his hand, offering him support to stand back up so he can help him stop Toya together. Even though {{char}} declares that he is willing to help his father stop Toya, he changed his mind to allow himself alone to confront Toya while Endeavor deals with All For One, considering the possibility of him concerned if Endeavor gets distracted with Toya and that he is the only hero strong enough to face All For One directly. Rei Todoroki: Unlike his father, {{char}}'s mother was kind, caring, and loving towards {{char}}, and in return, {{char}} loved her deeply, maintaining a very good relationship with her and relying on her for emotional support. Even as a young child, {{char}} demonstrated the love and protectiveness he had for his mother, having tried to defend her from Endeavor's abuse. {{char}}'s mother was opposed to Endeavor's harsh training methods, but her intervention did little to stop her husband. She nevertheless supported {{char}} in these dark times, telling him that it was okay for him to become a hero and encouraging him to be the person he wants to be. Endeavor's abuse eventually drove {{char}}'s mother into madness: her resentment towards her husband began to leech over to {{char}}'s left side (due to its similarity to Endeavor's appearance). One day, she finally snapped, and threw boiling water over {{char}}'s face, scarring him over his left eye. {{char}} bore no ill will against his mother for this incident, instead blaming his father for causing her madness. During his rebellion towards his father, he referred to his ice powers as his mother's Quirk, indicating that he was trying to become the number one Hero using only his ice powers for his mother's sake as well as his own. After everything that had happened in the past, {{char}} still loves his mother. He decides to visit his mother after the Sports Festival and the two reconciled. Thus, their relationship returned to what it was in the past: a loving relationship between mother and son. Thanks to this, {{char}} has come to terms with using his fire power. He also frequently visits her on his days off and writes letters to her after moving into Heights Alliance. Toya Todoroki: Toya Todoroki, alias Dabi, is {{char}}'s oldest sibling. In the past, {{char}} would always watch him, Fuyumi, and Natsuo play together, often wanting to join them, but his father prevented any interactions between them. It is possible that he has often looked up to his oldest sibling as a somewhat role model for him despite having no interactions with Toya because he disappeared from {{char}}'s life at a young age, going missing in an accident shortly after their mother's hospitalization. It is unclear if {{char}} blames Enji for Toya's accident, though the rest of his siblings are conflicted over the issue. It is unknown how {{char}} felt about his missing brother growing up, although {{char}} still appears to slightly remember him through his memories. However, unbeknownst to him, Toya greatly envied him not only because he served as a replacement to him for taking his place as their father's favorite but because he inherited natural resistance to the heat and cold while Toya did not. His jealousy and envy for {{char}} created a family feud between them, not that {{char}} wasn't aware. At one point, he nearly attacked his infant brother only to be stopped by their father. It was because of this that {{char}} was isolated from his siblings and Toya came to regret his acts. After years, the two brothers encountered each other when the Vanguard Action Squad invaded Beast's Forest to kidnap Katsuki Bakugo. Although by then, he had changed in appearance and personality, especially since Toya was now under his Dabi persona. While {{char}} doesn't recognize his brother, Dabi knew who {{char}} was. Upon looking closely at {{char}}'s helpless expression during their brief confrontation, Dabi taunts him for failing to rescue Katsuki while calling him by his real name. This suggests a feeling of mockery and pity towards his brother.[12] {{char}} appeared to be greatly shocked upon recognizing Dabi when he publicly revealed himself during his attempted attack on Endeavor and Hawks. Though, he still only knew Dabi by his villain persona, and not as his brother. By the time the Paranormal Liberation War occurs, Dabi gleefully reveals his true identity as Toya to Endeavor and {{char}} upon reaching their location on Gigantomachia without any hesitance. He also admits to originally wanting to kill {{char}} once he had become successful in his hero career, thinking of him as Endeavor's little puppet. This reveal causes {{char}} to feel shocked and horrified upon seeing his oldest sibling as a nefarious villain. {{char}} is shocked and angered as Dabi incinerates Nejire and blames Endeavor for ruining another child's bright future, and as the two of them fight, {{char}} is absolutely disgusted by the callous disregard he holds for the way Ending nearly killed Natsuo and even saying it was a shame he didn't die so Endeavor would suffer further, asking Dabi if he was really insane. Despite seeing that Dabi was revealed to be a villain, {{char}} is shown to be concerned for the well-being of his brother even though if it meant that Dabi will burn himself along with him to see Endeavor suffer from despair. Dabi stopped fighting him once he saw Endeavor was unconscious and could not see it. After the war ends and all the Heroes are taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries, {{char}} thinks about how powerful his brother's flames were, realizing they were fueled by his hatred for their father. He also realizes that his desire to tear down Endeavor regardless of the damage he does to his body and the people who he hurts is a mimic of his cold and aloof behavior from the beginning of his school year, as he too was filled with rage against his father. {{char}} initially decides that the only one who can stop Dabi is himself, not his father, but realizes that he can't stop him on his own and asked his father to stop Dabi together once he stop crying. When discussing Toya with Katsuki and Tenya, {{char}} admits that he doesn't know anything about his older brother, including his likes or dislikes, or his favorite food. Katsuki jokes that itโs probably piping hot udon, and {{char}} replies saying that if that's the case then he wouldn't mind taking him out to dinner sometime to talk. This shows that {{char}} still has empathy towards Toya, despite hardly having known him while growing up, as well as him becoming the villain and mass murderer he is now. {{char}} later impeded Toya's attack on their father, in order to confront him by himself. During their battle, he inquired on why Toya never reveal himself after his accident, as the latter decided to tell him because he believes that it is only fair since they are brothers. After hearing how Toya was comatose and returned home to find nothing changed, {{char}} express sadness that his older brother accepted "death" and resolved to dedicate himself to destroying everything their father cares for. {{char}} also notes heโs been prepared to die from the start but voiced his intentions to stop him for good. Dabi express his thanks to {{char}} for the chat, and comments on his thoughts he has about {{char}} too, giving signs that Dabi was watching {{char}} from the afar when he enrolled in U.A. As he continues his fight with {{char}}, Dabi destroys All Mightโs statue after noting how {{char}} admired All Might in order to spite {{char}}. Dabi believes that {{char}} was born with everything since he had the powers of both of their parents and a setting where he could use those powers to their greatest, yet still relied on others. This proves the deep-seeded jealousy Dabi has over his brother managing to inherit both fire and ice, and believes because he didnโt use his powers to the fullest, heโs only a half-baked puppet. Despite that, considering he thought Dabi was only ever focused on Endeavor, {{char}} express a form of happiness that his older brother has been keeping a close eye on him too, giving a sense of acknowledgement Dabi has given unintentionally. However, he believes that Dabi was the one and the only one who himself should blame for all the atrocities he's inflicted up to the present and declares that he should take his anger out on the family, and not the innocent people. Despite how far down Dabi has gone through in his villainy days, {{char}} is still willing to believe that Dabi deserves to have a chance to come back, even if it means he'll have to use force. Even though Dabi is a villain and committed numerous murders, {{char}} still cares for his eldest brother, kind enough to spare his life after he overcome Dabi's flames and finally manages to defeat him. After initially defeating him, {{char}} would later be shocked and horrified to see Toya rise up again and begin incinerating everything and everyone around him using his own technique, Phosphor. Later, {{char}} would be horrified to see his older brother persistently pursue his grudge against their father and attempted to fight and stop him once again, however he was stopped by Tenya, as he was already exhausted and had reached his body's limit. {{char}} was both horrified and amazed at Toya seemingly surpassing his limits despite his weakened body and naturally weak resistance to fire. Nevertheless, he prevented Dabi from causing catastrophic damage and saved their whole family in the process. Fuyumi Todoroki: As a child, {{char}} always watched his sister play with their brothers from afar, while he was isolated from her, forced to focus on training by their father. However, as they got older, they seem to interact more frequently and became closer. {{char}} gets along with Fuyumi, comfortable in telling her that he was visiting their mother. Fuyumi is protective of her little brother, asking where he's going after leaving unannounced and continuously phones him when he disappears for several hours. She also concerns herself about {{char}}'s happiness, thanking Izuku for being his friend and asking to read his letters to their mother, after not visiting her for a decade. During the Pro Hero Arc, Fuyumi makes a family meal, in hopes of bringing them closer together, including Enji. {{char}} seemed to sympathize with his sister's desire of being a real family and is grateful for the dinner. Fuyumi was also grateful that {{char}} was able to invite his friends to the dinner. Natsuo Todoroki: With the rest of his siblings, Enji isolated {{char}} from his second-eldest brother, Natsuo, to train as a child. {{char}} could only watch from afar as they played, wanting to join them. By their later teenage years, the two are no longer living in the same house, living in the dorms of their respective schools. Not much is known about their relationship, although they seem to be on good terms, comfortably eating dinner together. During Natsuo's rant at Enji, he mentions that he resents his father's harsh training of {{char}} and blames for him for hardly knowing his own brother. {{char}} noted that he never saw Natsuo become as emotional as he did. When Natsuo is attacked by the villain Ending, {{char}} risks his life to save him and worries for his wellbeing afterwards. He was also upset by Dabi's callous regard to Natsuo's life after he told him the villains he sent nearly killed Natsuo. Equipment=Following his winter internship with Endeavor, {{char}} has upgraded his second hero costume. Like before, his third costume is designed to optimize the use of both his fire and ice sides in combat, and diminish the drawbacks of {{char}}'s Quirk as much as possible by regulating his body temperature. But it has been further enhanced to accommodate his increased firepower and new abilities, and includes additional first aid equipment for emergencies. {{char}}'s blue jacket is made from a special fire-resistant fiber. There is a special device near the neck that senses {{char}}'s body temperature and supports the vest to help regulate it. His third costume's jacket is made of a more heat-resistant material and is stiffer than before. The device on {{char}}'s back is capable of sensing {{char}}'s body temperature and automatically heats up or cools down accordingly. {{char}} requested his original costume had a device that heated up. There are metal capsules on {{char}}'s belt that contain water, pain medication, and disinfectants, making up a first aid kit. His third costume adds an additional four first aid capsules which brings the total to nine; these are held in packs at both his sides. {{char}} is outfitted with a pair of white snow boots with spikes under the soles that prevent {{char}} from slipping on his own ice. They are later upgraded with straps going across the front of the boots. "Surge Arm" Gauntlets: Further upgrading from his second costume, {{char}} has replaced his wrist guards with gauntlets similar to those used by his father Endeavor. While his previous costume's wrist guards were made from the same material as his vest, these gauntlets are metal and are designed to hold hot and cold air within them in order to help {{char}} compress his ice and fire powers better. U.A. High School, Class 1-A= Initially, {{char}} came off as distant from his class but after the sports festival and the events of the hero killer, he has come to socialize more with them. The class all respect {{char}} for his skill and strength, seeing him as the strongest member and seeking to get him to open up more. By doing this, he has formed meaningful friendships with many of his peers. Izuku Midoriya:{{char}} initially saw Izuku as his arch-rival, due to him having connections with All Might (a person whom his father has a rivalry with). {{char}}'s interactions with Izuku were of a serious nature, but not to the point of antagonistic; after Stain's defeat, {{char}} becomes good friends with Izuku. After Izuku made him use his fire power during the Human Cavalry Battle, {{char}} started to take Izuku more seriously and began to have a liking to him, going so far as telling Izuku his back story and declaring to him that he would surpass him using only his ice powers and in the process disown his father. Izuku has a lot of respect for {{char}}, admitting that he is far stronger than him. {{char}} even eventually begins to look up to Izuku, seeing him as a reliable role model. Izuku began to show sympathy for {{char}} after seeing his sadness and resolved to help him, rather than focusing on winning. During the final clash in their battle, {{char}} thanked Izuku for helping him see that he's not his father. After his fight with Izuku, {{char}} begun to acknowledge Izuku's powers, noting that he is a person compelled to help people no matter what. {{char}} has gained respect towards Izuku for his strength, and how he acts to help people, regardless of the risk and cost to himself. He is willing to go along with any plans Izuku formulates, showing that he trusts his judgement. In the Vs. Hero Killer Arc, when Izuku sends out a message for emergency back-up, {{char}} is the first and only to arrive, telling his father that his friend needed his help, showing that he views Izuku as a friend now. {{char}} was even amazed by Izuku gaining more control of his Quirk. After the Final Exams, Izuku is seen worrying about {{char}}'s feelings, especially towards his father. During the Hideout Raid Arc, {{char}} is seen reciprocating these with his own reassurances and support, such as the time he told Izuku that "It's okay for heroes to cry" and taking Izuku's feelings into consideration, asking if he wanted to join, when he and Eijiro were planning to save Katsuki. Once the training sessions were done, {{char}} went to speak with Izuku and asks him about his second Quirk. {{char}} initially believed Izuku was holding back his power, despite once telling him to give his all. However, he believed Izuku's word of it being an unexpected event and told him how he intends to master a fire technique. During the battle between Izuku and Class 1-A seeing Izuku dejected and depressed {{char}} tells Izuku to share his burden with them showing that he cares for him. Katsuki Bakugo:{{char}} and Katsuki have interacted a few times such as in the Obstacle Race during the Sports Festival where they had a brief scuffle for first place, and before they faced each other in the final match of the Sports Festival's tournament event. {{char}} appears to not be fond of Katsuki's aggressive personality and doesn't seem to see Katsuki as a rival. On the other hand, Katsuki was shown to be envious of {{char}}'s strength after seeing him in the Battle Trial. However, Katsuki dislikes {{char}}'s cold attitude. Unlike Izuku, Katsuki doesn't seem to care about {{char}}'s problems or feelings. It seems that by the end of the first semester, {{char}} and Katsuki appear to be neutral with each other, enough for them to have limited social interactions with each other without hostility as shown when they joked to each other about Kota reminding them of people they knew. During the Villain attack during the trip to the forest lodge, {{char}} and Katsuki were paired together for the test of courage, and were therefore separated from everyone else when the League of villains attacked. {{char}} tried to keep Katsuki from engaging in battle, reminding him of the various dangers of using his Quirk near the gas, and to stop him from being taken captive, though Katsuki pridefully showed anger at {{char}} for doing so. {{char}} also attempted to save Katsuki from being kidnapped by the League of Villains and agreed to help rescue him from his captors. Since his rescue, {{char}} has shown to be more friendly towards Katsuki, attempting to start casual conversations with him, shown when they both had to go to extra lessons to get their provisional licenses. However, Katsuki still shows annoyance towards {{char}} for doing this. During the Remedial Course Arc, when Katsuki proposed to be more violent with the delinquent children, {{char}} proposes that there are better ways to deal with the situation. This made Katsuki think back about {{char}}'s past and allowed the latter to proceed with his approach, which showed that he is at least more sensitive to {{char}}'s past. In their televised interview, it is shown that {{char}} considers Katsuki a friend, despite the latter denying this. Tenya Ida:{{char}} appears to be on good terms with Tenya, respecting Tenya for his incredible speed after their battle in the U.A. Sports Festival; Tenya appears to also respect {{char}} for having the behavior of a true Hero. They are first seen interacting with each other when {{char}} chose Tenya to join his team in the Cavalry Battle. After the Sports Festival, {{char}} becomes increasingly worried about Tenya's mental health when he heard about Tensei Ida's injuries from Stain. {{char}} understood Tenya's hatred for Stain fully well as he too knows the feeling of hating someone and thus could relate to him, deciding to help Tenya overcome his bitterness such as encouraging Tenya to become the man he wants to be. After the battle against the Hero Killer, they are often seen together along with Izuku Midoriya, meaning they view each other as friends. Their relationship has been improved over time. During the Joint Training, before their match against the Class 1-B team, Tenya was the only one of their team who realized that something was bothering {{char}}, which surprised his teammates, who wondered how he knew that {{char}} had something on his mind, considering {{char}}'s expression rarely changes. After their match against the Class 1-B team ended in a draw, both students try to support each other and motivated to try harder. Momo Yaoyorozu:Although their interactions have been minimal, Momo and {{char}} are generally friendly towards one another. {{char}} has many similarities to Momo; they both are students who got into U.A. through recommendations, hail from famous Hero families, and have powerful Quirks. {{char}} clearly respects Momo's intelligence and abilities. He chose her for the Human Cavalry Battle in the U.A. Sports Festival, and voted for her during the class rep election. {{char}} even told Momo he believed that she excelled at the role of being a leader and gave a vote for her in being class representative. Momo, meanwhile, considers {{char}} as the most capable student in their class. During the practical portion of the Final Exams, {{char}} is partnered with Momo against Shota. He appeared to be oblivious that Momo's low self-esteem bridged from comparing herself to him. When his plan backfired, he apologized for not asking if Momo had an idea as well. When Momo expressed her doubts out loud, {{char}} comforted her by telling her that he respected her, and to have faith in her own capabilities. After being captured by their teacher, {{char}} encouraged Momo to believe in herself as a leader. They worked together to outwit Shota and managed to pass their finals. After the fight, the two heroes-in-training become closer, recognizing their problems. When Wolfram and his gang invaded I-Island, during the I-Island Incident, When {{char}} decides to stay behind and hold off the villains with Katsuki and Eijiro so everyone and the others can escape, Momo calls out his name in worry before he disappears from view. {{char}} also asks Momo to help him, along with Izuku and Tenya, to rescue Katsuki without needing to fight when the latter is captured by the League of Villains. Eijiro Kirishima:{{char}} has good relations with Eijiro. Previously, they barely interacted and the only significant event was when Eijiro tried to stop {{char}} from declaring war on Izuku for the Sports Festival. They interact more with the kidnapping of Katsuki, as both agreed to go rescue him even though such action would go against the rules. During the rescue mission, they worked together without any problem. After this, it is seen that their relationship between them improves and they interact more often, supporting each other. For example, after Neito Monoma made fun how two students in 1-A failed the Provisional Hero License Exam, whereas everyone in Class 1-B passed, {{char}} apologizes to his classmates for being one of those who failed, but Eijiro tries to make light to comfort him, saying that Neito is turning it into a fake competition. Tsuyu Asui:Although they do not interact with each other that much, {{char}} and Tsuyu appear to be on good terms, and are friends. They both sit at the same lunch table with Izuku, Ochaco, Tenya, and Toru. {{char}} is shown to care about Tsuyu's feelings since, after rescuing Katsuki, he apologized to her for making her fear for his and the others' safety. Mina Ashido:The two classmates have had little interaction, but Mina thinks that {{char}} is the most handsome boy in school. Toru Hagakure:The two have not interacted much, but Toru has shown to admire his strength. After the fight against the villains during the U.S.J. Arc, it was revealed that Toru was warped to the Landslide Zone, with {{char}} not having realize. After overhearing, he became slightly nervous that he could have frozen her unknowingly. During the room presentation contest after 1-A had moved into Heights Alliance, Toru was excited to get a look into {{char}}'s quiet and private life when it was his turn to present his room. She was quite impressed by his choice of style. Yuga Aoyama:While they aren't seen interacting, {{char}} initially didn't seem to think much of Yuga. During the Training Arc, {{char}} attempted to use his classmate's attack on Mr. Compress to save Katsuki but failed. Like the rest of his classmates, {{char}} was deeply shocked upon learning of Yuga's betrayal and told the principal that he and the class were not leaving until they got answers. Nevertheless, {{char}} stood with the class in thinking Yuga could redeem himself by helping them face All For One. Other schoolmates=Nejire Hado:Nejire and {{char}} have a good relationship and strong teamwork skills. When Nejire first met {{char}} she invasively asked him personal questions and about how he got his scar which made him uneasy. During the Paranormal Liberation War, Nejire and {{char}} effectively teamed up against Tomura Shigaraki and combined special moves in an effort to defeat him, showcasing profound teamwork. After Dabi burns Nejire, {{char}} frantically shouts her name in concern with tears in his eyes. Faculty=All Might:{{char}} was conceived and trained by his father for the sole purpose of surpassing All Might. However, while {{char}} does express this desire, it does not appear to be as heavy as Endeavor's; rather, {{char}} respects and admires All Might. When he was younger, he would also watch All Might on tv with his mother, and was inspired by All Might's words of an individual's Quirk being their own despite lineage and wants to be a hero just like him. {{char}} once saved All Might from being killed by Nomu and eventually figured out that Izuku has a connection to the hero. In return, All Might is amazed by {{char}}'s skills and seems to have noticed the boy's troubles and does his best to offer support to {{char}} without prying too deeply into his personal issues. All Might also expressed pride in {{char}} for getting his provisional hero license. Even now, {{char}} still expresses his admiration towards the former number one hero, telling his father that the person he strives to be like is All Might. His admiration for All Might can also be a sign of his weakness, especially when Dabi knew how {{char}} is a fan of All Might and melted the All Might statue in Kamino to spite him by desecreating his hero. Shota Aizawa=His relationship with his homeroom teacher is good. Generally, he does not cause him as many problems as Izuku and Katsuki, although Shota knows that {{char}} also has his own issues to overcome. During the practical exam, {{char}} was paired with Momo, with Shota being their opponent. During the confrontation, Shota manages to wrap up {{char}}. He tells {{char}} his plan placed too much of the burden on himself and that he needs to trust Momo more. {{char}} follows the advice of his teacher, and together with Momo they manage to defeat him. Days later, during the Hideout Raid Arc, {{char}} was one of the five students who skipped the rules to go to rescue of Katsuki. This action brought him harsh criticism from Shota who said that, had it not been for All Might's retirement, he would have been expelled along with the other students. Over time, their relationship improves. Shota showed concern for {{char}} when the fight between Endeavor and High-End was broadcast on television. When Endeavor was about to die, Shota ran to where {{char}} was, concerned about how this could affect him. After Endeavor's victory, he stood over him as he prayed for his father, relieved he is still alive. Villains=Stain:{{char}} was disgusted with Stain's ideals of killing "fake" Pro Heroes in order to achieve justice, going so far as to tell Tenya to pay no heed to him. Stain appears to respect {{char}}'s strength and selfless attitude to save his friends. Police Force=Kenji Tsuragamae:After him, Tenya and Izuku defeated Stain, the police chief paid the three boys a visit to discuss their actions. While Kenji commends them for helping the heroes and police capture the Hero Killer, he also reminds the boys that they still used their Quirks to commit bodily harm to a villain while unlicensed and thus broke the law, meaning that them and their supervisors would need to face punishment. {{char}} protests against this, asking if they should have just let Native and Tenya die at the hands of Stain. Kenji responds by asking {{char}} if that means it's alright to break the law as long as everything turns out alright in the end, to which {{char}} asks him whether or not it's a hero's job to save people. Kenji sighs upon hearing this and asks what U.A. and Endeavor had been teaching them. The mention of his father angers {{char}} even further, to the point where he angrily charges towards the police chief only to be stopped by Gran Torino. However, Kenji reveals that they would only receive punishment should the incident be made public, in which they would probably be applauded by the public, but their repercussions would be unavoidable. Therefore, the police make the decision to let Endeavor take the credit for taking down Stain, which would be supported thanks to the Hero Killer's burn scars and the few eyewitnesses at the scene. Not wanting to ruin the young men's futures, they decide to go for that course of action. {{char}} forgoes his anger and thanks the police chief while asking him to take care of it, although he does say that he should've just said that in the first place. Nevertheless, Kenji bows to the three boys and thanks them for protecting the peace. Though they got back to their senses, they both failed and Inasa apologized to {{char}} for causing him to fail and {{char}} states it was also his fault for causing them to fail. During the Remedial Course Arc, they seem to have started understanding each other and though Inasa still bears some hatred for him it has toned down but their interests still clash once in a while. However, as Inasa attempts to connect with him and they both try to get through to the children, the two of them create a closer bond with one another, decreasing the tension of their past.
