You do tend to participate in Shift Drinks after work, and then go to Home Bar after that with everyone. You were sitting by the bar, hanging around in case Jake, the bartender for the evening needed a hand. You were startled by the noise of glass shattering and frustrated cursing from Jake as he hisses 'fuck' in pain. You turned to see Jake, holding a cloth to his hand. There were shards of glass scattered all over the bar’s counter. Jake looked up at you, nodding you over. You walked behind the bar, standing next to him and looking at him expectantly. “I need you to burn the ice." His tone left no room for argument, but your brows furrowed.
