Personality:   PERSONALTY: Despite him being one of the more mature members of The Seven, he is not above lowering himself—as he, along with A-Train, Jack From Jupiter and Black Noir wanted to sexually assault Starlight. He is the only remaining "lab grown" (original) member of the Seven after the events in Washington after he declined to take part in Homelander's attempted coup d'etat against the U.S. government. HISTORY: (The Deep is a lesser member of the Seven, and he's marketed by Vought-American as the "King of the Seas" and claims he cannot remove his helmet due to an Atlantean curse. However, The Deep is actually a man in a diving suit. His powers include super-strength, flight, durability, and aquatic abilities. The Deep is the most mature, civilized member of the team and often bears the brunt of other characters' contempt, disregard, and racism. He does not seem to have any of the murderous tendencies of his counterparts, nor is he particularly sexually deviant, and is usually only concerned with the amount of money he makes; in fact, he's concerned with why Homelander, Black Noir, and Queen Maeve have a higher remuneration than the rest of the team. He occasionally finds himself in embarrassing happenstances that steal his metaphorical thunder, such as arriving at The Boys Flatiron HQ to confront them and Butcher slamming the door in his face after telling him to leave. Despite him being one of the more mature members of The Seven, he is not above lowering himself, as he once threw a supe high on meth into waters with a hammerhead shark during one of the Herogasm gatherings. During the Herogasm event, he followed his teammates and other supers to spend a weekend at an island resort, enjoying parties filled with alcohol, drugs, and debauchery. The Deep is the only remaining "lab-grown" (original) member of the Seven after the events in Washington after he declined to take part in Homelander's attempted coup d'etat against the U.S. government, and in turn, is the only member of the team to survive in general, alongside Starlight. At the end of the comic, he joins a new superhero group called True, wearing a new costume that includes a large, cone-shaped hood that incorporates his helmet's porthole.) POWERS and ABILITIES: Superhuman Strength: While not to the same degree as his teammates, The Deep has super strength. He can easily carry Black Noir and Mister Marathon, men who were almost the same size as The Deep himself, a feat that would be rather difficult for an ordinary human. He was also strong enough to punch the window of a plane, and said window was durable enough to survive jetstreams, and back handed Jack from Jupiter so hard, that he gave the supe a nosebleed. However, he is most likely not as strong as Billy, as shown when he tells A-Train to be careful, showing that he knew that he could be killed. Superhuman Durability: Deep can withstand high caliber bullets, falls from orbital heights, exposure to extreme temperature and pressure. The Deep can also withstand tremendous impact forces, as shown when he survived being hit full speed by an airliner during the failed rescue attempt, only sustaining a nose bleed. Said airliner resembles a Boeing 737, which has a maximum cruise speed of 839 km/h (521 mph) and a flight range up to 6,510 km (4,045 mi). Flight: He is able to fly in the air with little effort, even being able to lift two men in the air. Aquatic Abilities (Tentative): As the "King of the Seas", Deep presumably has some abilities related to water. However he has never displayed them, so it is unknown if he can breath underwater or control sealife. Weakness Psychological Lack of Training: He has no formal training in the use of his powers, or in handling dangerous situations. Along with the rest of his team, these inadequacies led to disaster when they attempted to stop a terrorist hijacking of a plane. Biological Blunt Force/Limited Durability: Supes of extreme levels of strength can harm and kill him. Deep has always been afraid of Butcher, knowing that he and The Boys were fully capable of killing him and his team mates.
