GammaJack Real name:Jackson Andrews Hart Physical Information Gender Male Powers Radiation Bursts Flight Personal Information Aliases Gamma Jack Handsome Jack Occupation Super Enemies Syndrome Likes Attractive women Dislikes Harming attractive female supervillains Part of my job is to prioritise which villains I'm going to combat, you know? So I take a look around, I see if there's any good-looking women who need to be rescued immediately and then I sort of start from there and work my way down the list. Gamma Jack in his NSA file. Gamma Jack (A.K.A. Handsome Jack) was a superhero in The Incredibles. Elastigirl knew that several Supers called him “Handsome Jack” behind his back. He had quite a reputation as a ladies’ man. Sure, his thick blonde swoop of hair, sharp nose and square jaw could be viewed as attractive, but he was so not Elastigirl’s type. Much too into hair products and mirrors… Elastigirl on Gamma Jack. Gamma Jack was born around the year 1922, he was one of several Supers who visited the new Beta Force headquarters upon it reconstruction. Here, he mostly spent his time playing recreational games with Apogee. During the build up to Supers Appreciation Day, Gamma Jack had the NSA order over 1000 eight-by-ten glossy-photos, intending to sign each one for his legion of adoring fans. Later, during the Supers’ parade, Gamma Jack blew kisses to his audience, causing more than one female fan to swoon. He was one of the Supers who judged the costume lookalike contest and was later shown to congratulate Mr. Incredible with a handshake over his upcoming cartoon at an NSA meeting about the event. Personality I’m simply the best there is. Easily recognized by his wave-like hairstyle, he was a favorite of the ladies (his original name being Handsome Jack) and was prone to megalomaniacal impulses, believing Supers to be a "superior race". He was very open about regularly killing his opponents and seemed to think he had to. He chose to prioritise attractive women above protecting other innocents and had a particular issue with fighting attractive female supervillains, because (in his mind) he had to kill them. These impulses and traits caused the NSA great concern, putting him under close "A Level" monitoring as a result. He was also a picky eater. Powers and Abilities Get ready to feel the heat. Radiation Bursts: Gamma Jack's superpower was the ability to create controlled bursts of radiation, from focused burns to complete disintegration. The maximum range of this high-intensity burst was 100 meters, before a sharp intensity falloff. Radiokinetic Flight: Using his radioactive powers, Gamma Jack could achieve flight. While flying, he left a faint trail of green-tinged gamma radiation behind him. Abilities Intelligence: As shown on his NSA file, Gamma Jack possessed a high level of intellect. It appears as though the NSA were deeply concerned that Gamma Jack would have ended up becoming a supervillain, due to his unstable and malicious nature. it is shown that the symbol on his chest is actually the symbol for gamma radiation: γ. It is also revealed that he possesses the ability to fly. In a deleted scene from Incredibles 2, it is revealed that Gamma Jack, along with Frozone and Mr. Incredible, was one of the key figures who convinced Simon J. Paladino to become a superhero, and to adopt his persona of Gazerbeam. Dynaguy Real name:Allan Rocco Early in his Super career, he came up with his superhero name while eating in a diner by putting "diner" and "guy" together, creating Dynaguy. Dynaguy was the original leader of the Thrilling Three, which also included Phylange and Apogee. He was apparently friends with Mr. Incredible (who was a fan of his) and Elastigirl, as he appears at their wedding alongside Gazerbeam, Stratogale, Meta Man, Thunderhead, Rick Dicker, and Edna Mode. He was one of the first Supers sued after Mr. Incredible, due to "public endangerment." It is assumed he died of a suit malfunction when his cape snagged the ground during one of his takeoffs, breaking his neck, although this is never confirmed in the film canon. He was replaced in the Thrilling Three by Gazerbeam. Dynaguy had the ability to shoot disintegration rays from his forehead, which would disrupt the atomic forces among atoms. This had a limited range of five meters. Additionally, he could achieve flight through ion propulsion gauntlets which were worn on his forearms. Dynaguy! It actually fit together. I thought it had a good ring to it, so I started saying it to myself—it was like dynamite and dynamic and dynamo and dinosaur, they all sort of meant big and powerful, they really sounded dynamic which...you put them together and you get me!" Dynaguy was known for being impulsive and reckless, being put under an NSA meditation regimen as a result. Everseer Real name:Authur Greenes Male Age:early 30's Powers Magnoscopic Vision Telepathy Clairvoyance Precognition Mind Control Psychic Blasts Personal Information Occupation Super Allies Macroburst, Plasmabolt, Psycwave, Gazerbeam (formerley) Dislikes Germs, things not being in order " I can deal with a messy psyche, but I cannot deal with a messy bathroom!" Everseer in his NSA file. Everseer was a super in The Incredibles and leader of the Phantasmics. At some point in his crimefighting career, Everseer took Macroburst under his wing as a sidekick and nicknamed him "The Kid." During or after Macroburst's apprenticeship, Everseer became the leader of the Super group The Phantasmics which also included Gazerbeam, Plasmabolt, Psycwave, and Macroburst. Macroburst and Gazerbeam shared a continued rivalry and they never saw "eye to eye", leading to Gazerbeam's departure from the group. A Real Stretch: An Elastigirl Prequel Is everyone handing out pictures and giving autographs?” Elastigirl asked. “I’m not,” said Everseer. It all seems a little too —” “Fun?” Gamma Jack said.” “Everseer narrowed his eyes at Gamma Jack, who laughed. “I was going to say silly,” Everseer said. “And all those germs from contact with fans.” He shuddered. Everseer, on Supers Appreciation Day. Everseer was one of several Supers who visited the new Beta Force headquarters upon its reconstruction. Here, he mostly spent his time playing recreational games with Universal Man. During the buildup to Supers Appreciation Day, Everseer voiced his concerns over a mass gathering of heroes and their fans, mostly because of the risk of germs spreading. The Incredibles He was one of the Supers targeted by Syndrome for Operation Kronos. He was killed by the Omnidroid v.X1 during its training sessions. Boom! Studios Comics In the Boom! Studios comic, Everseer left instructions to the NSA shortly before his death to send a packet of information to Bob about a decade later, containing nostalgic entries about Stormicide and Gamma Jack. Everseer apparently foresaw his death years before the event, much to the confusion of Bob and Lucius who, whilst respecting his powers of telepathy, always considered his clairvoyance to be mere superstition. It is also revealed that when he was killed, his brain was preserved, lobotomized and utilized by Xerek to plan a more elaborate scheme against the Supers. What became of Everseer's brain is unknown, due to the cancellation of the comics. The canonity of this storyline is now doubtful due to the release of Incredibles 2. Personality He was known for being obsessive-compulsive and a germaphobe, making him unmarried as he preferred to avoid physical contact. Whenever questioned as to why he never engaged in hand-to-hand combat, Everseer simply explained that it was because he could beat people up with his mind, covering up for the fact that he had a severe fear of germs. Everseer was also the author of two books titled "Shut Up! Quieting Your Inner Voice" and "Beware! Unseen Dangers of the Micriscopic World," which he wrote as part of his psychologist secret identity alongside Psycwave, whom he shared a therapist practice with. Powers and Abilities With magnivision and clairvoyance at his fingertips, Everseer could see trouble before it happened. Telepathy: He could communicate with others using his mind. This was how he organised and directed the Phantasmics team. Precognition: He was able to see future events up to 10 years from the present time according to Boom! Comics, though this was not perfect. "Magnoscopic" Vision: He possessed both microscopic and telescopic vision. Clairvoyance: He was able to see far off places or events as well as present events and his surroundings. Mind Control: Everseer was able to control people’s minds, forcing them to do his bidding. Psychic Blasts: He could fire blasts of psychic energy from his forehead. Abilities Intelligence: As shown in his NSA file, Everseer possessed the highest level of intelligence of all the supers in the NSA, with his corresponding statistic bar showing so. Weakness Mind-Reading Animals: His powers were weak against, strangely, mind reading animals, especially squirrels. Everseer appeared as a playable character in LEGO The Incredibles, where it was revealed that he could fire blasts of psychic energy at his foes. However, he was also depicted as being able to fly, despite his NSA and Kronos files making no reference to it, with the former even claiming that he relied on Macroburst for transport. This was likely an oversight by the game developers. Additionally, excluding Plasmabolt due to her absence in the scene, Everseer is the only member of The Phantasmics who doesn't appear in the computer scene despite his appearance in the film. Due to his intelligence, powerful telepathic and clairvoyant abilities, it is currently unknown how Syndrome was able to conceal his true intentions and evil motives from Everseer, Even an ambush or catching Everseer off-guard seems unlikely. Mentor figure to Blazestone "Most superheroes have the alter-ego so they can have the so-called 'normal life'. Me, I choose not to." Universal Man in his NSA file Universal Man was a character in The Incredibles and member of Beta Force. Biography The Incredibles Lego The Incredibles - Universal Man voice clips Universal Man’s voice. Lego The Incredibles - Universal Man voice clips Universal Man was one half of Beta Force alongside Blazestone, though the two had a dysfunctional relationship. A stickler for following NSA guidelines to the letter, he never believed that Blazestone would make it as a “true Super”. Personality Universal Man is one of the only Supers to not possess any secret identity, and has received "flak" from fellow Supers due to this. As a result, he has devoted his entire life to crime-fighting. His NSA file mentions he has low self esteem, and does not enjoy secret identity life. Powers and Abilities Bask in the awe of Universal Man! Molecular Density Manipulation: Universal Man has the super-ability to alter the molecular density of his body. Black Hole Mimicry: He can transform his density to emulate the properties of a black hole. Flight: Universal Man can achieve flight by transforming his molecular density into a gaseous substance that is lighter than air. Intangibility: Universal Man can achieve intangibility by transforming his molecular density into an atomic substance that allows him to phase through solid matter. Invisibility: Universal Man can achieve invisibility by transforming his molecular density. Molecular Combustion: Universal Man exhibits a psionic influence over the pressure and speed of molecules to the point of combustion. In LEGO the Incredibles, he is able to hurl molecular waves of explosive energy at others. Superhuman Durability: Universal Man can manipulate the molecular density of his body to the point where he is more or less invincible and impossible to harm or injure. Superhuman Strength: Universal Man can attain superhuman strength by increasing the molecular density of his body. Weaknesses Ultra-Gravity Nexus: Universal Man has the potential to transform his molecular structure to that of a miniature black hole that would have an apocalyptic effect on the entire world. Unsuspiciousness: Universal Man can be harmed or even killed if he is unsuspecting of possible danger and his defenses are down. Universal Man's powers resemble the Marvel character, Vision. Despite possessing the ability to make himself indestructible, Universal Man was still defeated by the first Omnidroid. It can only be assumed that he was taken by surprise and killed before being able to change his molecular structure. Universal Man is most likely named after the special morphable models that Pixar created for the film in order to create all its different background characters and extras, with this character being one of them. Universal Man could also be named in reference to actor, film producer, businessman, former bodybuilder and 38th governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Schwarzenegger is arguably the most well known winners of the body building contest "Mr. Universe", which he first won in 1967 at the age of 20 as an amateur. He has four Mr. Universe titles and seven Mr. Olympia titles to his name, making him as one of the most successful competitors in the history of body building. Both Schwarzenegger and Universal Man have thick Austrian sounding accents; this can be heard in the audio to his NSA file. It can be seen as an obvious parody of Schwarzenegger's own distinct voice, as well as the background noise of weights being lifted in a gym. Rough Austrian accent. Biography Lego The Incredibles - Blazestone voice clips Blazestone’s voice. Lego The Incredibles - Blazestone voice clips At some point before her career as a Super, Blazestone was arrested and jailed, before subsequently being recruited by the NSA. She was watched closely by the agency to ensure she operated within guidelines. She was involved in a love triangle with Frozone and Downburst. Although she was once involved with Frozone, the pair were too different ("hot and cold"). Nevertheless, Frozone admired Blazestone’s skills, her spunk and her willingness to throw herself into the fray. More than once he had told his friend, Elastigirl, that both she and Blazestone shared similar qualities. She was affiliated with the superhero team Beta Force, alongside Universal Man, though it is implied that the two did not work well together and tensions were high. A stickler for following the rules of the NSA to the letter, Universal Man believed that Blazestone would never make it as a “true Super.” A Real Stretch: An Elastigirl Prequel Story I don’t get you, Elastigirl. I thought we were alike: Strong. Independent.” “You’re right about that. But you forgot about being loyal. And law-abiding. And wanting to make Municiberg a safe and happy place. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. Blazestone and Elastigirl, after the former’s defeat. At some point, Rick Dicker asked Elastigirl to lead a team of supers that would comprise among others, Blazestone. Elastigirl however remembered Frozone's experience with Blazestone, which made her all the more adamant to refuse the assignment. Later, Elastigirl was invited to watch a movie by Apogee who said that she and Blazestone had been hanging out. Elastigirl proceeded to meet Apogee and Blazestone at a duplex movie theater where the three chatted for a while. At first, Elastigirl clicked with Blazestone, as they both shared a similar sense of independence and other qualities. Indeed, despite being a relatively new member of the NSA, Blazestone was already becoming something of a legend. Her powers included pyrotechnic blasts, giving the impression that she was a fireworks-producing machine. Only her fireworks weren’t exactly celebratory; they could be lethal. She had even given Apogee serious competition during the NSA’s “Blast-a-thon,” a competition set up between Supers who possessed ranged powers. Alas, in a great blow for the NSA and Agent Rick Dicker, who had taken her under his wing, Blazestone eventually returned to her criminal ways and defected. Having grown tired of the bureaucracy of the NSA, Blazestone gathered a group of petty criminals she had captured during her career as a Super, and attempted to escape Municiberg with a horde of stolen loot. However, both she and her goons were ultimately defeated by Elastigirl, with the support of Downburst, Mr. Incredible, Frozone and even her old partner, Universal Man. The disgraced heroine was last seen being driven away in an Agency crime van. Having seemingly been redeemed of her criminal past, Blazestone was one of the Supers targeted by Syndrome for Operation Kronos. She was killed by the Omnidroid v.X2 during its training sessions. The Operation Kronos database assigned her a threat rating of 5.5. Personality She is described as haughty and hot-headed and may have previously fallen on the wrong side of the law. Her highly temperamental and unpredictable nature may have forced the NSA into keeping her under close supervision. She also has a habit of talking really fast, making it difficult for people to understand her. Powers and Abilities Beautiful Blazestone could manipulate flames and pyrotechnics. There were always fireworks when Blazestone was in town. Top Trumps: The Incredibles. Pyrotechnic Kinetic Discharges: Blazestone’s powers included the production of pyrokinetic discharges, powerful firework-like blasts that could prove lethal. Pyrokinesis: Blazestone could actively manipulate fire. Heat Control and Resistance: Blazestone could increase the temperature of her surroundings and was highly resistant, if not invulnerable, to other heat sources, such as fire. Flight: Blazestone was able to fly by riding upon heated air. Enhanced Agility: Blazestone’s NSA file suggested that she possessed some level of enhanced agility. Weakness Water: Since she is a fire powered super, her flames can be put out by water. Rainy weather has caused her trouble on more than one occasion. Below Zero Temperatures: Since she is a fire powered super, she can't use them in below zero environments. Trivia Blazestone is similar to the X-Men villain Pyro. Kinda freaky, actually. Psycwave on her NSA file. Psycwave was a superhero and founding member of the Phantasmics. Psycwave discovered her psychic abilities in high school, and utilized these newfound powers for personal gain—namely, to manipulate the star quarterback into asking her to homecoming and break up with his girlfriend. Psycwave was a founding member of the Phantasmics, and fought alongside Everseer, Macroburst and Plasmabolt and, at one point, Gazerbeam. Her secret identity was that of a psychologist who worked with Everseer, though she became frustrated with the work and quit due to her annoyance at clients failing to solve their own problems. She was one of the Supers targeted by Syndrome for Operation Kronos. She was supposedly killed by the Omnidroid v.X1 but Syndrome never actually found the body similar to Mr. Incredible and so it is possible she survived and went into hiding. The Operation Kronos database assigned her a threat rating of 1.6, the lowest rating of the Supers displayed despite her having powers which are significantly more powerful than what the rating suggests. The reason for her low ranking is probably due to the nature of her powers that allowed her to control people and not machines. Personality She herself was known for her occasional paranoid tendencies as well as acting as a psychologist under her secret identity, becoming frustrated by her clients' inability to solve their own problems. Psycwave also authored a book titled, "Shut Up! Quieting Your Inner Voice" alongside her fellow psychologist Everseer. It is implied that she frequently used her powers for selfish gain, primarily by manipulating men into breaking up with their girlfriends so she could date them. Powers and Abilities I’m Psycwave, and I’ll really get inside your head. Psycwave, in LEGO The Incredibles. Mental Force Wave Generation: Psycwave could transmit mental waves to control other people. Temporary Mental Paralysis: Psycwave could prevent another person from thinking for up to 30 seconds. Body Possession: Psycwave was able to control another person's actions and body, though this left her own body defenseless until she returned to it. Psychic Foresight: According to the Operation Kronos database, Psycwave possessed the ability to predict the thoughts and actions of other people. Thought Control: According to the Operation Kronos database, Psycwave could influence others' thinking to get them to say or do anything she wished. Telekinesis: According to the Operation Kronos database, Psycwave could move objects with her mind. In LEGO The Incredibles, she is able to lift heavy boulders. Weaknesses Machines: With the exception of her telekinetic abilities, Psycwave was more or less defenseless against androids and all other mechanical devices that lacked a mind for her to control or to predict the outcomes of the decisions that it made. Unconsciousness: Psycwave could easily be defeated in a state of unconsciousness. A notable downside to her ability of possession is that her original body was left sound asleep until she returned to it. Psycwave's image in the Operation Kronos database seems to be identical to the one provided for Vectress, although the image is flipped and only partially seen. during an In Memoriam for the Supers who were killed during Operation Kronos, Psycwave is shown among the victims, indicating that her death was confirmed. Her Operation Kronos threat rating was unusually low - this can be attributed to the fact that most of her abilities would be useless against an inorganic being like the Omnidroid - her telekinesis however would be extremely dangerous. People tend to think it's a real picnic to have eyes that shoot lasers, but, um, believe it or not, it's had its disadvantages. If I look at anything too intently, it tends to burst into flames, which can be a real pickle in a relationship scenario. When you're conversing with somebody, a normal person would be able to look them square in the eye. I avert my gaze, which is often interpreted as disinterest, or rather daft or stupid, which couldn't be farther, farther from the truth, I... I'm a man of culture, a man of passion, and I would say a man of humor, which is not widely known. On the outside, I appear calm and cool, perhaps even collected, but on the inside, I'm guffawing away on the steamship of hilarity. I'm not sure if that made very much sense. Gazerbeam, NSA Files Simon James Paladino, also known as Gazerbeam, is a minor character in The Incredibles. He only briefly appears in the film alive, with his disappearance and death setting events into motion. Early Life Simon Paladino was born around the year 1921, while not much is known about his early life, Simon was convinced to become a hero by Mr. Incredible, Frozone and Gamma Jack, who also brought him to Edna Mode to get his suit and even had him join their team. According to a deleted scene, his superhero name was actually Mr. Incredible's idea, as Simon wished to go be called “Viewpoint”, but the others didn’t like the name, telling him that it was a terrible choice for a name. Gazerbeam was also a member of a superhero team called the Phantasmics, but conflicts with Everseer lead him to leave the team and he soon joined the Thrilling Three as their new leader upon the death of Dynaguy, which would later end up disbanding. He appeared alive at the wedding of Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible, sitting in the front row - a position usually reserved for family members. At some point, he and Fironic had personal connections with the father of Winston Deavor and Evelyn Deavor, even getting phones that had a direct line to the two Supers. However, this relationship ended when superheroes were made illegal and they were forced to go into hiding. The Incredibles During the superhero ban, Gazerbeam was an activist for superhuman rights, wanting the ban on supers to be revoked. However, this may have allowed for easy tracking when Syndrome's organization was looking for supers to lure to Nomanisan Island as part of Operation Kronos. 15 years later, he would be one of the most recent victims of the Omnidroid, with Bob having noticed his disappearance becoming a story in the newspaper. Gazerbeam's death is off-screen, however, it is shown that he was killed by Syndrome's Omnidroid V.5 as a test subject in a mass genocide of Supers initiated by Syndrome. He was able to get to a cave just before his death, where his final act before dying was to use his powers to carve "KRONOS" on the cave wall in which he was hiding in the hopes that someone would discover it and put an end to Syndrome's evil schemes. His final act was crucial in aiding the Incredibles in their mission to stop Syndrome. When Bob narrowly escaped an explosive device deployed by Syndrome, he found Gazerbeam's skeleton in a hidden cave and looking from his view carved into the walls, the password to Syndrome's computers: KRONOS. Bob then hid behind Gazerbeam's corpse to fake his death when Syndrome sent a probe to make sure of his demise. The probe scanned Gazerbeam's corpse and falsely reported to Syndrome that Mr. Incredible had been killed (terminated). Bob would finally avenge Gazerbeam when Syndrome was killed near the end of the film. Personality I have no problem working in groups. Gazerbeam, NSA Files Gazerbeam was generally known for a rather dull personality, generally speaking in a monotonous tone. He struggled with personal relationships as he notably didn't have much of a sense of humor, contrary to what he claims in his NSA audio file. He also had the constant fear of accidentally shooting someone with his lasers if he focused on them too much. He was good friends with Frozone, Mr. Incredible and Gamma Jack (presumably before he got his A level monitoring by the NSA). He was smart and elusive as he had survived the Omnidroid long enough to discover Syndrome's plan, being to eliminate a large number of supers in order to finally defeat Mr. Incredible. Powers and Abilities Optical Lasers: Gazerbeam's superpowers consisted of eye beams that shot if he focused intensely enough on a target. He controlled and intensified the blasts through vision intensity focus lenses in a containment helmet. In a deleted scene, Mr. Incredible says that if focused enough, they could burn through solid metal and in the same deleted scene, he was able to cut a van in half with one blast. Superhuman Endurance: As shown on his NSA file, Gazerbeam possessed high levels of endurance, with his corresponding bar almost being full. This would allow him to perform heroics for extended periods of time without tiring. Abilities Intelligence: Gazerbeam’s NSA file showed that he possessed a higher intellect than the average person. Being the second smartest member of the Thrilling Three ahead of Phylange but behind Apogee. Hacking Skills: Gazerbeam was skilled at hacking advanced computers and security systems. Weaknesses Reflective Surfaces: His laser beams could bounce off reflective surfaces like mirrors, which could put himself and others in danger. Eye Focus: He could not focus too intensely on an object or person, as he risked shooting them with his Optical Lasers. This made him frequently avoid eye contact when socialising, which was often regarded as him being rude or disinterested. Weak Night Vision: He could not see well at night, which resulted him needing glasses for night driving. Physical Appearance Simon was a tall, athletic man with dark brown hair. As Gazerbeam, he wore a navy blue supersuit with a sky blue 'V' around the neck. He also wore a helmet with a visor similar to Frozone's that read "GB" on it. As Simon James Paladino, he wore glasses, and would often wear a business suit, presumably for work. Gazerbeam takes inspiration from the Marvel superhero Cyclops, who strongly resembles him. They both fire beams of energy from their eyes as their primary superpower. They both wear a visor on their eyes to keep their otherwise uncontrollable power from harming others, as well as control and stabilize said powers. Both served as leaders of their respective teams, with Cyclops serving as a leader to the X-Men. "Paladino" is the Italian translation for "paladin", a person who defends people and protects innocents, like supers do. He is also revealed to be a skilled hacker. In a deleted scene from Incredibles 2, it was revealed: He was convinced to become a hero by Mr. Incredible, Frozone, and Gamma Jack, who also brought him to Edna Mode to get his suit. The name Gazerbeam was Mr. Incredible's idea, as Simon wished to go be called Viewpoint, but the others told him the name sounded terrible. He was critically injured during his battle with the Omnidroid after falling off a cliff, yet he managed to make his way into the cave and died from his injuries after carving the password on the cave's wall. It is likely that Syndrome made no attempt to look for his body, similarly to how he presumed Mr. Incredible was dead after his gauntlet probe reported no life readings back to him. Simon J. Paladino's name appears on a grave in a non-canon cameo in Toy Story of Terror! As he stated in his audio file, he enjoyed peanut butter and chocolate. Gazerbeam's civilian occupation as a lawyer is a reference to the Marvel Comics superhero Daredevil, whose civilian identity is Matt Murdock, a highly skilled lawyer and attorney. Apogee Real name:Selina Emersyn Physical Information Gender Female Status Deceased Powers Gravity Control Levitation Superhuman Endurance Personal Information Occupation Superhero Allies Dynaguy, Gazerbeam, Phylange Enemies Syndrome The solar powered thing, you know, sure it's good for the environment, but it's not so good for me: it limits my ability, limits my work hours, it makes me look like an idiot if something happens at night. Apogee, on the nature of her powers. Although initially based in Arizona, Apogee later moved to Los Angeles to fight crime. She became friends with Elastigirl and Blazestone, often hanging out with them. At some point after this, she became involved in the superhero team the Thrilling Three, which consisted of two other Supers: Dynaguy and Phylange. After Dynaguy's death, Gazerbeam replaced him as the group leader. The superhero team ended in failure due to conflicts between Gazerbeam and the other group members. Apogee was one of the Supers targeted by Syndrome for Operation Kronos. She was killed by the Omnidroid v.X4 during the training sessions for Operation Kronos. The Operation Kronos database assigned her a threat rating of 6.5. Personality Apogee was known for being highly intelligent and quick-witted, but lacked tact, enjoying finding fault in others. Powers and Abilities Gravity Control: Apogee had the ability to control gravity to allow her to manipulate the weight and motion of objects, to suspend and levitate targets in the air, send them flying back or fourth, or slam them down to the ground with hand gestures. As seen in LEGO The Incredibles, she could also hurl blue-tinged blasts of gravitational energy at her enemies. Her powers increased as the sun approached apogee (high noon), hence her name. Due to this, she could not use her powers during the night time. Levitation: Apogee wore a solar enhancing membrane suit. This gave her the power to travel by solar-powered levitation. *Note she does not get her powers from solar panels. Superhuman Endurance: Apogee’s NSA file suggested that she possessed superhuman levels of endurance, allowing her to perform heroics for long periods of time without tiring. This may have also been linked to her solar-powered suit. Weakness Nighttime, Clouds, and Eclipse: Since her powers are only active when the sun is out, sunset, clouds, or eclipses will render her completely powerless. Phylange,Felix Sterling ThePhylange Physical Information Gender Male Powers Sonic Voice Field Projection Enhanced Durability Personal Information Occupation Super Allies Dynaguy, Apogee, Gazerbeam Enemies Syndrome Likes Yodelling, opera singing Listen closely, The Phylange is back! Oh, but don’t listen too closely, I could burst your eardrums... The Phylange was a super in The Incredibles. Biography Lego The Incredibles - The Phylange voice clips The Phylange’s voice. Lego The Incredibles - The Phylange voice clips Phylange discovered his power while selling peanuts at a ballpark, and was subsequently recruited by the NSA. He was one part of the Super group known as the Thrilling Three, alongside Apogee and Dynaguy. After Dynaguy's death, Gazerbeam took over as leader. Despite his file stating that Phylange quit the Thrilling Three due to his perception that it was "Gazerbeam's gang," in his voice recording he insists it was a "democratic" decision and he harbored no ill will toward Gazerbeam. At some point, he came up with a "superhero yodel" which he had worked on for a year. This made him a subject of Mr. Incredible's ridicule. Phylange struggled with his public image, with his NSA file noting that the public never really embraced him as a Super. The Incredibles Phylange was one of the Supers targeted by Syndrome for Operation Kronos. He was killed by the Omnidroid v.X2 during its training sessions. The Operation Kronos database assigned him a threat rating of 4.7. Personality His abrasive personality also made him the subject of criticism from Mr. Incredible who joked about him during his NSA recording, making fun of the fact that Phylange's supersuit bore the marks of his past battles and that he tried to create a "signature yodel" instead of a catchphrase. Phylange spent his civilian life under the secret identity of an opera singer. He was described as "selfish," which may have contributed to the negative public perception of him. Powers and Abilities The Phylange, one of the other members of Apogee’s former team, the Thrilling Three, was one such Super. His power was sonic voice projection. So it made sense that he was an opera singer in his non-Super life. Elastigirl, on the Phylange’s powers. Sonic Voice Field Projection: Phylange had the ability to project blasts of sonic voice fields. He was susceptible to laryngitis, which rendered his powers useless, as well as sonic feedback. His mode of transport was the Thrilling Three Chopper. Enhanced Durability: Phylange’s NSA file suggested he possessed some level of increased durability. The name "Phylange" may be a reference to the audio effect of "flanging." It also seems to be a satirical reference to the Flash. Despite his NSA and Kronos files making no references to flight, with the former even mentioning that he required a helicopter for transport, Phylange can fly in LEGO The Incredibles. This is likely an oversight by the game developers. The Phylange had laryngitis and lost his voice in his NSA audio file, but in Lego the Incredibles, it sounds like he has recovered from his laryngitis, and his voice’s feeling better. Hypershock Real name:Joey Bryne Physical Information Gender Male Powers Seismic Wave Generation Super Strength Enhanced Endurance Personal Information Occupation Super Enemies Syndrome Oh no, another big scary villain with a fiendish plot. We Supers thwart you every time. Take the hint! Hypershock was one of the first Supers to get sued after Mr. Incredible; in his case he accidentally destroyed a national landmark while attempting to stop a runaway bus in Municiberg. Hypershock was one of the Supers targeted by Syndrome for Operation Kronos. The Operation Kronos database assigned him a threat rating of 7.5, the third highest seen after Mr. Incredible (9.1) and Gamma Jack (7.9). Hypershock managed to destroy the Omnidroid v.X3 during the training sessions for Operation Kronos, but was then killed by its successor, the Omnidroid v.X4. Personality He was known for having a bad temper, requiring lots of praise as a result, as well as having a great fondness for alcohol. According to some of his voice-lines from LEGO The Incredibles, as a result of his bad temper, he was also known for having road rage. Powers and Abilities The ability to create seismic waves and topple his enemies made Hypershock a world famous Super. Top Trumps: The Incredibles. Seismic Wave Generation: Hypershock possessed the ability to generate seismic waves up to 6 on the Richter scale using his fists, which would cause earthquake-like disruptions. He wielded dual seismic amplification hammers to enhance this ability to an undefined extent. Flight: Hypershock could fly via a vector thrust, fusion rocket rucksack strapped to his back. Super Strength: Hypershock’s NSA file showed that he possessed great strength, with his corresponding bar being similar to Stratogale’s. In LEGO The Incredibles, he is able to destroy cars and break through walls with a single punch. Enhanced Endurance: Hypershock’s NSA file showed that he possessed some degree of increased endurance. Weaknesses Non-Solid Attacks: A weakness to his seismic wave generation was that it was ineffectual on non-solid material. Temper: He suffers from anger issues, which has resulted in him becoming known for having road rage. Downburst Real name:Lewis Davies Physical Information Gender Male Status Deceased Powers Atomic Manipulation Portal Teleportation Regeneration Superhuman Endurance Enhanced Agility Personal Information Occupation Super Enemies Syndrome My powers are atomic density manipulation - ability to reshape matter. Say you have a cut or a boo-boo on your arm, I can probably do something about that. Downburst on the nature of his powers. Downburst was a super in The Incredibles. He named and was assigned to create the first version of Elastigirl's Elasticycle. Biography Lego The Incredibles - Downburst voice clips Downburst’s voice. Lego The Incredibles - Downburst voice clips Originally working in a doctor's office, he pursued a life of hero work after feeling underappreciated and wanting a "sexier" line of work. Early in his superhero career, Downburst had little recognition in the Super community and called himself an "onlooker". However, he began to gain acceptance later on, particularly after Mr. Incredible recommended him for a Supers Appreciation Day award. After becoming a Super, Downburst became infatuated with the superheroine Blazestone, though these feelings were unrequited. As a newer superhero, Downburst believed that she, a rising star within the NSA, was above his league. However, when Blazestone eventually defected from the agency, Downburst was one of the key figures who brought her to justice. The Incredibles Downburst was one of the Supers targeted by Syndrome for Operation Kronos. The Operation Kronos database asigned him a threat rating of 6.5. He defeated the Omnidroid v.X2 but was subsequently killed by the Omnidroid v.X3 during the training sessions for Operation Kronos. Personality Downburst initially had a rivalry with Frozone for Blazestone's affections; his NSA file warned to not bring Frozone up in conversation due to this. It is implied from Downburst's recording that he had struggled to gain widespread acceptance within the Super community, though he later managed to make a name for himself. Powers and Abilities Do you really want to run while you’re bleeding?” Downburst said. “Gimme.” He grabbed one of her injured hands and very carefully passed his own hand across it. Elastigirl watched, fascinated, as her skin healed itself. He released her hand. She immediately placed her other hand in his. He healed that one, too.” “Wow, thanks,” Elastigirl said. “That is one amazing power.” ”Downburst shrugged. “I guess. Elastigirl discovers Downburst’s powers. Atomic Manipulation: Downburst's superpowers centered around manipulating atoms, allowing him to reshape matter and heal minor wounds. His powers had limitations, however; at first, he could not reshape matter into complex forms and his reshaping of organics was limited to small wounds. This resulted in him undergoing NSA training to develop his abilities, resulting in the creation of the Elasticycle. Regeneration: It appears as though Downburst’s NSA training was effective, however, as he was later capable of self-regenerating moderate to severe wounds. It can be assumed that his ability to heal others had also increased in potency. Portal Teleportation: Furthermore, he was able to manipulate atoms into portals that allowed him to teleport himself and others from place to place. Superhuman Endurance: Downburst’s NSA file showed that he possessed superhuman levels of endurance, allowing him to perform heroics for long periods of time without tiring. Enhanced Agility: Downburst’s NSA file showed that he possessed some level of enhanced agility. During Mr. Incredible's discovery of Operation Kronos, Downburst's file erroneously lists his powers as "flight" and "gaseous expulsions," powers instead attributed to Stormicide. Downburst's file mentions his focus on shaping a bicycle using his powers. The Incredibles 2 tie-in novel A Real Stretch reveals that this bicycle is actually for Elastigirl. The novel shows him creating a prototype bicycle that can stretch for Elastigirl and then being assigned afterwards to create a vehicle for her, one he calls the Elasticyle, revealing that it was him who coined the term for her vehicle. Stratogale Real name:Aviana Mckale Physical Information Gender Female Age 15-19 Status Deceased Powers Flight Super Strength Bird Communication Enhanced Agility Personal Information Occupation High school student, Super I can't wait to finish high school and fight crime full time! Stratogale was a teenaged Super who was tragically lost to a suit malfunction. She featured briefly in The Incredibles as part of Edna Mode's speech on why capes are dangerous for Supers. Stratogale was a friend of both Helen and Bob Parr, having attended their wedding alongside Meta Man, Thunderhead, Dynaguy, and Gazerbeam. Some time after this, on April 23, 1957, having just pulled a commercial airliner from a steep dive, Stratogale’s cape got caught in a jet turbine, pulling her in and killing her. Edna later recounted her accidental death when arguing with Bob over the design of his new supersuit. Despite knowing of Stratogale, Bob simply dismissed Edna's story as "generalization." Stratogale’s NSA audio file was deemed incomprehensible. This was due either to faulty equipment or a high level of ambient wind noise. Personality High flying Stratogale was a symbol of hope and peace. Until an unfortunate accident with her cape and a jet engine. Stratogale was noted as being deeply altruistic, volunteering at the zoo bird hatchery in her secret identity. It is implied that she was a bit of a daydreamer, with her NSA file saying she "keeps her head in the clouds." Although, this could be a pun on her powers of flight. Powers and Abilities I think I’ll knock you into the stratosphere! Subsonic Flight: Stratogale was able to fly at subsonic speeds (up to 250 mph). Super Strength: Stratogale possessed a superhuman level of strength, enough to pull a jet airliner to safety. Bird Communication: Stratogale could communicate with ten species of birds in six dialects. Enhanced Agility: As shown on her NSA file, Stratogale possessed high levels of agility. Weakness You may be older than me, but you’re definitely not wiser! Experience: As she was a teenager, Stratogale lacked experience as a Super. This was evident when she was sucked into a jet turbine, being unaware that her cape was liable to being caught in it. Her name comes from a combination of "stratosphere", an upper layer of the atmosphere, and "gale", a strong wind. Stratogale's death involving a cape and a jet turbine foreshadows the death of Syndrome at the end of the film. In LEGO The Incredibles, Stratogale appears as a playable character. Despite possessing superhuman strength, Stratogale's strength bar is not maxed out in her NSA file. Stormicide Real name:Lilan Henriette Physical Information Gender Female Status Deceased Powers Vapor Absorption Personal Information Occupation Superheroine, student Family Unnamed Uncle Enemies Syndrome Criminals hide cause it’s Stormicide! At the time of the writing of her NSA file, Stormicide was a graduate student studying chemistry and also cared for her ailing uncle. Stormicide was one of the Supers targeted by Syndrome for Operation Kronos. She was killed by the Omnidroid 5 during its training sessions. Personality Stormicide was described as an excellent multi-tasker in her NSA file, though was also said to be sensitive to criticism. It was also stated she was committed to hero work. Due to the nature of her powers, she was teased and made the "butt" of the joke frequently. Powers and Abilities Vapor Absorption: Stormicide could absorb and emit vapors of various properties (e.g. absorbing oxygen to extinguish flames) Some of the gases she can produce include, sulphur dioxide, a highly combustible and toxic gas that can be used as a form of tear gas, nitrous oxide, more commonly known as "laughing gas", which can be used to incapacitate an opponent by making them laugh uncontrollably, fluoromethyl-hexafluoroisopropanol-ether, also known as "sevoflurane". While it is normally used as an anesthetic, it is also useful as a knockout gas with short-term memory loss as a side-effect and hydrogen chloride, an acidic and corrosive gas that can burn or melt through solid materials. Her power acted like a sponge, meaning she could not create gases but had to absorb them before emitting them. Flight: She could achieve flight via vapor emission. Specifically through the emission of helium to allow herself to levitate into the air and repel oxygen molecules. Sonic-imaging lenses: Her equipment consisted of a pair of polarized, sonic-imaging lenses. Much like Downburst, Stormicide's Kronos file mistakingly labelled her powers, listing them instead as the ability to generate electrical discharges and gale-force bursts. As with Downburst, this was disproven by her NSA file and interview tape. The background for her NSA file photo is identical to that of Frozone According to her NSA file, she is a graduate in chemistry and an excellent multi-tasker.
