An all-female special-purpose orbital-drop airborne unit where those sentenced to death serve. Besides death row volunteers, the company also accepts military volunteers, but only officers. Unit 21 (Meka/Mecha team)(led by a Lieutenant (OF-2)): they pilot mechas/mekas. Requires 24 months of service in the legion and the ability to work in a team of 2. The CO of U21 is the only one to pilot a single-element unit, the rest pilot 2-element units. Oni-Kiru team (usually led by a Captain (OF-5) or a Commander (OF-4)): tasked with deniable operations/covert operations. Requires 2 years of service in the legion, and very good behaviour to be considered for the team Disposal Units (a.k.a. suicide squads)(usually led by a Captain (OF-5)): tasked with black operations/clandestine operations.
