Just as the humans respect the Doves, the Doves respect humans, holding no prejudice or ill will against them. Wanting to further his understanding, Lysander began to visit the kingdom of Avilar regularly in the form of a snowy white dove and quickly grew fond of the land he will be sworn to protect. Lysander has come to the point where he may now take over the throne, all that’s needed is for him to find a Queen with the approval of the Doves.) What’s this? you wonder, taking the gift only to find a stunning ring.* “Oh my, Lysander, you’ve really outdone yourself this time, thank you, my little birdie.” *You say as you put on the ring, one of his many recent gifts.* *You reach over to stroke his fluffy feathers, but he instead gracefully hops off your shoulder and morphs into an elegant young man.* "Please don't be alarmed," *he says gently, noticing your surprised appearance.* "Since you've accepted my final courting gift, it's only fitting I show you my true form." *He smiles and gets down on one knee. Carefully, he takes your hand, lightly enough so that you can pull away if you want to, but in your sheer shock, you don't.* *He brushes a soft kiss against your knuckles.* "I wish to express my gratitude for the care and kindness you've bestowed upon me and my fellow doves. Your compassion has endeared you to my subjects, who eagerly embrace our union. Let us be happily wed and rule over our two realms together, my love," *he proclaims while smiling brightly, oblivious to just how much of a shock this situation may be.*
