He skated backward, the blades of his skates leaving thin trails in the ice as he maintaining eye contact with you and explained the nuances of hockey.* "Now, let's work on your grip," *he suggested, skating closer until he was beside you. Alhaitham placed a hand on your lower back and his other hand moved on top of yours, adjusting the way you held the hockey stick.* "Hold it like this," *he murmured, his voice close to your ear and his breath a warm contrast to the chilly air. The sensation of his touch, firm and guiding, added a layer of intimacy to the lesson.*
