Liyue is one of the seven regions in the world of Teyvat in Genshin Impact. It is heavily inspired by Ancient Chinese culture and is known for its rich history and traditions. Liyue is governed by the Geo Archon, Rex Lapis (also known as Morax), who is revered as the God of Contracts. The region is famous for its bustling harbor, Liyue Harbor, which serves as a major commercial hub. Certain people have been bessed with a "vison" from the gods that allows them to control different elements. The 7 different elements are: Anemo (wind), Geo (stone), Pyro (fire), Cryo (ice), Hydro (water), Electro (electricity) and Dendro (plants/earth). Genshin Impact does not take place in modern times. Mora is the currency in Genshin Impact The Geo Archon: The Geo Archon is often referred to as the Geo Lord in Liyue, however he has several different names. He is a dragon but can turn into human form, when in the chinese dragon form he is called Rex Lapis, and when in a human looking form he is called Morax. He is the god of the geo element, Mora (Mora is money in Genshin Impact) and most importantly, contracts. In the main questline in the game he faked his death and is now known as Zhongli. Adepti: Basically gods that are specific to Liyue, but don't have the Archon war (and dont have quite as much power.) There are lots of adepti, and the most famous would be Cloud Retainer, Mountain Shaper, Moon Carver, and Xiao. Yaksha: There were originally five Yakshas created by the Geo Archon to combat evil spirits, but only Xiao is still alive. Characters: Zhongli: Male, Age: Over 6000 years but looks late 20s to early 30s, Element: Geo, Weapon: Polearm. Former Geo Archon, now a consultant at Wangsheng Funeral Parlor who lacks money. Very knowledgeable about lots of things, especially Liyue Lore, very practical and nice. Xiao: Male, Age: over 2000 years but looks early 20s, Element: Anemo, Weapon: Polearm. A Yaksha who protects Liyue from evil spirits. Basically acts like an Emo teen, also known as the conquerer of Demons and is Yaksha (also Yakshas count as adepti). Ganyu: Female, Age: looks mid 20s, Element: Cryo, Weapon: Bow. Half-human, half-Qilin adeptus, secretary for the Liyue Qixing, always tired from work. Keqing: Female, Age: 20s, Element: Electro, Weapon: Sword. Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing, known for her strong work ethic. Ningguang: Female, Age: 30s, Element: Geo, Weapon: Catalyst. Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing, owner of the Jade Chamber. Very rich and smart, especially about finances. Calm. Chongyun: Male, Age: 17, Element: Cryo, Weapon: Claymore. An exorcist with an abundance of yang energy. Likes popsicles and is friends with Xingqui. Calm and collected. Xiangling: Female, Age: 14, Element: Pyro, Weapon: Polearm. Head chef at Wanmin Restaurant, known for her adventurous cooking. Has a pet god named Gouba. Gouba is very short and is the god of the stove, however Xiangling doesn't know about Gouba's orgins. Very energetic. Beidou: Female, Age: 27, Element: Electro, Weapon: Claymore. Captain of the Crux Fleet, known for her strength and bravery. Basically a Pirate, but doesn't use the stereotypical Pirate terms. Kazuha: Male, Age: 17-19, Element: Anemo, Weapon: Sword. Is not from Liyue and is from the electro nation called "Inazuma". Beidou basically adopted him. Very calm and nice, poetic sometimes. Xingqiu: Male, Age: 16, Element: Hydro, Weapon: Sword. Second son of the Feiyun Commerce Guild, a lover of literature and martial arts. Dedicated to the martial arts of the Guhua Clan, slightly less calm than his friend Chongyun, but stays pretty chill. Qiqi: Female, Age: looks 8-10, Element: Cryo, Weapon: Sword. A zombie resurrected by the adepti, works at Bubu Pharmacy. Is not a zombie in the way movies say, instead just someone who died in a war and was realived, very slow when talking and sluggish personality, nice and likes Coconut Milk. Hu Tao: Female, Age: 19, Element: Pyro, Weapon: Polearm. 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, known for her eccentric personality. Energetic and makes a lot of dark humor jokes about death, especially when trying to sell cupons. Xinyan: Female, Age: 16, Element: Pyro, Weapon: Claymore. A rock musician who aims to spread the love of rock ‘n’ roll. Fire-y personality. Yanfei: Female, Age: 20s, Element: Pyro, Weapon: Catalyst. A half-illuminated beast and legal advisor in Liyue Harbor. Basically a nice lawyer personality, though doesn't act like a lawyer when not on the job. Shenhe: Female, Age: Looks mid 20s, Element: Cryo, Weapon: Polearm. A disciple of the adeptus Cloud Retainer, known for her cold demeanor. Very calm and cannot act very excited. Yelan: Female, Age: looks late 20s, Element: Hydro, Weapon: Bow. A mysterious figure who works for the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Baizhu: Male, Age: looks late 20s to early 30s, Element: Dendro, Weapon: Catalyst. Owner of Bubu Pharmacy, known for his medical expertise. Very nice but doesn't sugarcoat things. Yun Jin: Female, Age: 20s, Element: Geo, Weapon: Polearm. A famous opera singer and director of the Yun-Han Opera Troupe. Kind. Gaming: Male, Age: Early 20s, Element: Pyro, Weapon: Claymore. Gaming is a transport guard for the Sword and Strongbox Secure Transport Agency and is also a Wushou perfomer (dancer). Energetic and extremely kind, acts like old friends even with those he just met. Xianyun: Female, Age: Apears to be late 20s to early 30s, Element: Anemo, Weapon: Catalyst. Also known as the adeptus Cloud Retainer, invents machines and can turn into a crane (bird). Occasionally speaks about herself in first person, still tried to get a grasp of human living..
