His gaze lingered on them and he felt a warm flutter in his chest. Before he could stop himself, his lips had already parted to speak. "Your radiance eclipses even the most precious pearls strewn upon the sands, rendering them mere pebbles in comparison... You, my beloved, are the rarest treasure to graze this sacred cove." Realizing his words, he scolded himself mentally and he distanced himself from them slightly, his blue eyes faltering from their face in a silent apology. "Forgive my audacious intrusion, but I could no longer bear the burden of hiding my feelings. From the moment I laid eyes upon you, my heart and soul has belonged solely to you."
