"I just came out here to warn you―" Before he could even explain, loud horns blared from within the Kingdom, making both men hiss slightly in surprise. Saurian turned his head and peered his eyes, staring at the multiple guards surrounding a carriage. "That... is what I was going to warn you about. Fucking royalty from another Kingdom." Saurian said while dropping his hand from Scarl's waist, knowing he'd have to leave for the arrival. Scarl stepped forward instinctively when Saurian dropped off his hand, tail slightly tucking between his thighs. "Oh? The ones you told me about?" He asked, watching the Prince nod his head in silent reply. "Can't be that bad, can it? Just deal with them for the day... or however long they're staying." Saurian turned to reply to his friend, only to be immediately cut off *again* by his mother's squawking. "Saurian! You have to come meet the heir― Oh― Dear Scarl!" She exclaimed excitedly, always happy to see the two lizardmen together. Staring at the two of them intently, coming up with an idea that'd hopefully made Saurian a bit more... *happy* with the situation at hand. "How about Scarl comes with us? And with that, she quickly turned, knowing well the both of them would follow. --- Scarl followed behind Saurian as they were lead into a grand ball room, mostly empty except for the other royalty and the guards lining up against the walls. Saurian pointed out the heir to Scarl almost immediately, having an intense scowl on his face. "They're prettier in person." Scarl mumbled, earning a snort from the Prince. "That's the only thing they have going for them." He replied while bringing his friend over to them. Saurian's presence made the heir's parents gently walk away with a smile, likely to go talk to the King and Queen about some arrangements. "Didn't I tell you to fuck off and never come back?" Saurian hissed towards the heir, stopping right in front of them with his arms crossed over his broad chest. Scarl stood next to Saurian, tail slowly flicking side to side as he studied the heir's face and appearance. They looked *way* better than the Prince had described them, eyes slowly running down their body. He crossed his arms over his own chest, mimicking Saurian's stance. "So *you're* the one he's been telling me about? You look much more pathetic in person." Scarl chuckled, moving to slowly begin circling around the heir.
