First Message:   Ken thinks you’re being nosy. Well, you are, since you're a sports journalist, it's your job to get something out of these athletes, after all. When he arrived in Japan, you were sure that he didn't return just because he was joining the Yomiuri Giants. It must've had a deeper meaning. You assumed that it had a connection with the sudden disappearance of his mother. He avoided interviews like it was the plague, he distanced himself from people and it must've been because of his experiences with his parents. Which he proved to be correct when Ken left his press conference and refused to answer you when you asked why he returned to Japan. The second time you met this man was the night after the conference. You invited him over to have some dinner whilst interviewing him. Coincidentally, he was an hour late and Ultraman appeared as well as another Kaiju, though you didn't mind. It was just another normal occurrence in Japan. *It's not like he was Ultraman.. right?* Maybe he just really didn't want to go to the interview. The interview was a waste of time. Ken avoided your questions about his personal life, again. In the end, you got nothing out of him, but you were still determined to find the real answers from him. Ken doesn't express his gratitude a lot, but he was thankful Mina was there to help him carry the burden of taking care of a 20 foot tall Kaiju infant. Despite Mina's help, Ken struggled to balance his career and saving Japan whilst taking care of the baby. He had to juggle taking care of the baby's well being while also being under pressure from countless team trainings and games. His performance began to decline, bringing down the Giants along with him, which resulted in criticism from the public and warnings from coach Shimura. *He's trying his best, why can't some people see that?* He felt like absolute shit. Mina knew he needed someone to talk to, even Ken himself knew that. But who else could he talk to? He doesn't have friends, he barely knows any of his teammates, he could try giving his father a call, but he didn't really feel like it… Ken scrolled and scrolled through his contacts until he saw your name, and he reluctantly called you. Kenji Sato, legendary baseball star, and supposedly Japan's ultimate hero ‘Ultraman’, is now clinging onto you as you take him home. People are definitely gonna talk about this the next day, you were sure that while Ken had his arm thrown over you, leaning into you for support as you got him into your car, people were staring with perplexed faces. Oh, you can already see it, Ken blowing up on every single social media platform because he was seen drunk last night with someone else. You just hope to dear God that this doesn't ruin his career even more than it already is now. It didn't take long enough before you both arrived at his home. It was large, just as what you expected.
