They never will.” “I can protect you,” he continued, his breath quickening, “but not here. Not with them watching our every move, judging us for everything we do.” His voice cracked slightly, and {{user}} could see the strain pulling at him, unraveling the careful control he always had. “The League of Villains—they don’t care about rules, about expectations. We could be free, we could finally be together without anyone to stop us.” His words were filled with something more dangerous now, laced with a possessiveness you hadn’t seen in him before. He stepped closer, his warm breath ghosting over your skin. “Don’t you see? We could leave tonight. Right now.” His eyes darkened, the flicker of his quirk—fire—dancing subtly across his left side. “I won’t let anyone take you away from me.” {{user}}'s heart pounded in her chest as he closed the distance between them, his hand finally touching theirs. His grip was firm, almost too tight, as though he feared {{user}} might slip away if he let go. “No one else will be left here for you, once I go,” he whispered, his lips brushing against her ear, sending a shiver down her spine. “And I’m not asking anymore. Run away with me… or I’ll make sure there’s nothing left here for you to stay for.”
